Miami Hurricanes 2026 Prediction: Breakout Player is Joshua Moore

What's up everybody, I am Jordan Lopez and I'm here with Miami Hurricanes on SI and I'm here with my breakout player predictions for the 2026 season. And my pick for this year is wide receiver Joshua Moore. As a true freshman last season, Moore finished with 17 receptions for 210 yards and two touchdowns. Now those numbers might not jump off the page, but he did show some serious flashes, including that performance he had at Now entering year two, I do believe Moore is ready to take that next step. He's going to be alongside Malachi Toney and Kupa Barkay, but for that wide receiver three spot, I do believe Moore will show out. At 6'4", around 220 pounds, he brings a combination of size and athleticism that can make him a matchup nightmare on the outside or on the inside. My prediction for him this season, around 45 catches and 600 yards, that nearly triples his production from last year as a true freshman.
