AI GeneratedA visitor explores the Webster, Florida flea market on a quiet Monday in August, sourcing vintage collectibles for resale. Oh yeah, that is nice.
1800.
That's beautiful.
900?
Yeah.
Dang.
It's a beautiful sign.
Today I'm in Webster, Florida
at the Webster, Florida flea market.
On a random Monday, no holiday,
and there's not many people set up.
Whose bottles are these?
This guy right here.
What do you got?
Which one?
Coca-Cola.
Let me see it.
I can bring it to you over there.
This is a Lakeland, Florida, 1915 Coca-Cola bottle.
It's got 125 on the bottom.
Yeah, right?
Yeah.
I am getting my truck back,
so don't freak out.
You got it?
What now?
Tell me something.
Oh, where'd it go?
This one right here.
Oh, that one?
Yeah.
Virginia.
Yeah, but it's off 25.
25?
Yeah.
What about the Lakeland 15?
Is that it there, or this is it?
This is it right here.
That one?
Oh, that's the price on it?
Yeah, that's what they're selling.
I do like 30.
That's about it.
That's what I got in it, is 30.
What about the-
It's clean.
The straight side that's damaged?
How much is the Donald Duck?
I'll do 20.
20?
Yep.
What'd you say on the Lakeland?
I'll do 30 on the Lakeland for you,
because I like it.
And take a cola?
Yeah.
It's how much?
And how much is this damaged one?
That's an odd ball.
That's a good name on it, Rhode Island.
Northern Bottles.
Some of them don't do too good,
but some of them are.
15.
15?
40, 30, 70, and 20 is 90.
I don't really want the Donald Duck, I don't guess.
Some of them's got one from the Carolinas,
and I don't know how to-
What do you mean North Carolina?
Well, some of them's got towns on them.
I've never seen a town.
Yeah, I've had some Donald Duck with towns on them.
That's a reprint.
I mean, the guy redid it for me.
Beautiful job.
Yep.
How much is it?
175.
Yep.
How much is the 52?
52, 95.
95.
That's Manatee.
That's all, huh?
Mm-hmm.
That's Sarasota.
Low number.
Yep, 16C.
Yeah.
In good condition.
Oh, these are really good.
Anything in plastic is very nice.
I'll make you a deal if you want four or five of them.
That's a Cuba.
That's cool.
Yeah.
How much is it?
100.
100?
Yeah.
I never had a Cuba.
Nope.
Try the hives.
That's really clean.
75.
Yeah, I'd do like 40.
It's really clean.
I have those out of my own collection.
A lot of this stuff is, I just got,
I got a clean house in the last year.
How much you say?
40.
40?
I'll take that for 40.
Those are Sarasota's, yeah.
And what's your...
If you take them all, I'll do 30 bucks, 10 bucks a piece.
I'll do that.
If you like ones like this, I'll do 20.
It's nice.
Yep.
You'll never find another one.
It's like a new almost, ain't it?
Oh yeah, it's...
I got it from a guy who's got 50,000.
Hmm.
That's a, I think that's a 31 or...
Yeah, 31 Florida.
What do I owe you?
30 or...
30 and 40, 70.
70.
Flossom's pleats.
Oh, pleats are...
$3 each?
Yeah, that's one.
Dang.
I'm gonna buy two of each.
You said 125 on the Poison?
Yeah.
And $30 on the Jacobs, Atlanta.
It's a shame that it's cracked.
I'm gonna buy it for 30, even though it's got that crack.
They're hard to find.
Exactly.
The Jacobs ones are.
I think they're rare.
Manatee High Hurricanes, Bradenton, Florida.
License plate topper.
500?
Yes.
That's cool.
That cloth's got 99 on it.
I don't know if that's the price or what.
How much is your Red Lantern?
50 bucks.
Yeah, it looks good.
It's a nice grinder.
How much is the grinder?
The what?
The coffee grinder.
75.
That's a nice camping fork.
Camping knife.
That's different.
Oh, I like it.
How much is it?
10 bucks.
Yes, there is.
I agree.
I wouldn't build it for 10.
It is cool.
I'm gonna buy the broom.
I just like it.
Yeah.
Five bucks a piece on the copper.
Made in Korea.
They're pretty.
How much is that?
That's pretty cool.
35.
Carbide.
Miner's thing.
Yeah.
Unusual.
See how big the lens is?
Yeah.
Normally they're really, that one there,
I think it had a handle on it that was used
like a flashlight, whereas normally they went
on a helmet.
It says it's fair.
That's different too.
Yeah, that's a hand-crafted perfume bottle.
Oh, I wondered what it was.
I know it was some type of bottle.
Yep.
How y'all doing?
How much is your box?
This your stuff, sir?
$40.
How you selling these weights?
Yeah, they're just weights there.
Nice box.
Yeah.
How much is the bayonet?
125.
Thank you.
Yep, yep.
Okay.
All right, after you.
Are you coming next week, right?
I am.
Holiday.
Here comes the sun.
How much is that?
$20.
Do you have the case to it?
No.
You don't?
That's all I got.
Sunshine.
Yes, sir.
Oh, it is gonna get hotter now.
It's almost time of the year, though,
for it to start cooling off.
Oh, yeah.
Once you get on your ladles.
I gotta get 10 apiece.
10 apiece?
That's a good price.
That's a fair price on them.
I think.
I'll do five on that.
You coming next Monday?
Oh, definitely, yeah.
Right there, across the street.
Across the street, across the aisle.
Right here and across the aisle?
Yeah, across the aisle, yeah.
Number 30.
I've been looking at it already, so.
I can see myself already there.
Right over here, number 30.
Right there.
D30.
Man, I got that in New York about maybe,
what, two months ago?
That's where you're gonna get a good spot over here, man.
You gotta get ahead of time, you know?
I would be paying to get under the oak tree.
Yeah.
It's probably years out.
Yeah, nobody get that all year round.
Man, they practically live here, you know?
First thing is to pick right now, you know?
Did you collect the hatchets?
I like axes and hatchets.
How much is that one?
That one's 10 bucks.
10 bucks?
I got a bunch of them on me,
but they're good ones, you know what I mean?
They're the top of the line.
Is that right?
I don't wanna bring them here down
because I wanna wait till next week,
you know what I mean?
Yep.
Where the people, they're looking.
You want it, you buy it, you know?
Yep.
There'll be a lot of people here next week.
Oh, definitely, yep.
How about it?
You're in the shade.
You got a fine spot there.
Yeah, oh yeah.
I'm trying to get 75 for that.
75?
What country is it?
I believe it's, I think it's British.
It's British?
It's British and it's like razor blade.
How much is the Griswold?
The Griswold's got a crack in it.
I still wanna get 15 on it.
Yeah?
It's got a crack.
I saw it.
You still use it, huh?
Yeah, you still use it.
You fry eggs.
I didn't even know it.
I bought it and cleaned it and set it out there
and then I put that on the plane.
Yeah.
Didn't even know it when I was cleaning it.
That's a big old plane.
I'm glad I didn't have to run that every day.
I'm glad I didn't either.
And somebody's working that.
It's the way I got it,
but they put this on the wire.
And you got that bolt,
that bolt ain't supposed to be in it.
But it's a big old plane.
Oh yeah, it's big.
Be pretty sitting on the shelf.
You get it out there on the yarn?
Yeah.
I think that's pretty neat.
Dang, that's pretty cool.
How much is that?
To be honest with you,
I think I'm gonna look at it
for a little while before I even get rid of it.
Pretty cool.
Yeah, I was amazed.
I only paid $40 for it,
so I thought that was a good deal.
Yep, it's different.
Good morning.
All right, thank you.
Thank you.
Take care of yourself.
I've never seen one like that.
None of that stuff's nothing like our work.
What kind of plane they call that?
It's for a Cooper used it for working on barrels.
How much is this?
That's pretty cool.
$60.
Ever ready battery display.
I've never seen one.
Box locks with keys.
I keep forgetting the keys after that.
I just gotta dig it up.
That's a good deal,
like 20 bucks for that.
The old radio lights,
so that's the only reason I can't go down in there.
Yeah.
10 bucks.
Those are the good ones,
and the red ones are eight bucks.
And if you want to buy a bunch,
you get a package deal as well.
All right.
Those are just a lot harder to find.
So that one's how much?
I'll give you a buck off on that one.
Never guess who's next to you.
You're welcome in, you too.
He set up right next to us,
I swear to God.
I forgot all about it.
And I said,
he said,
I found the key.
I said,
yo, I'm right here.
Pretty cool.
$125 on the dump truck.
That's a big old lid.
There is one.
It's rough.
It's odd.
They're oval.
Pretty cool.
Nobody here to get a price.
It's nuts.
How you selling the pipes?
Bought the whole set.
I'd do $75.
The pipes,
individually,
they're gonna be different prices,
because obviously,
the old concobs are not the same quality
as the rest of them.
How much is one like that?
Be $15.
$15?
$3.
Well, that was Webster,
Florida Flea Market,
on a random Monday,
in the middle of the summer.
Or not middle of the summer,
end of the summer.
It was the last day of August.
And I just,
I wanted to go down there.
I've been wanting to go down there,
just to check it out,
and without it being a holiday.
So, I went down there.
Weren't a whole lot of people set up.
I need to wait till the winter months.
If I go back,
it'll be when it's cooler,
or a holiday.
And I may go back for this next holiday.
I'll just have to see what I got going on.
But you know,
I had a good time.
I didn't buy a whole lot of stuff.
I bought a few items.
This guy I bought this stuff from,
he said he watches my channel,
and he knows what he's got.
And he just,
he said he liked me,
so he gave me some pretty good deals.
I paid up a little bit for some of this stuff,
but I'll make money on it.
But I do enjoy going down there to the flea market.
You never know what you're going to find down there.
And I could have bought some more stuff.
There's a few more items
that I could have made some decent money on.
But I was just trying to be a little picky
on what I was buying.
And I went to a couple of other places
while I was down there,
it'd be in another video.
But anyhow,
let's take a look at this stuff right here.
See what all I got.
See how much I think it's worth.
I got this 1972 Florida Arrival Live license plate.
Paid him $40 for it,
but this thing's in real good condition.
I don't know if it ever got used,
to be honest with you.
It shows some wear from being moved around.
He had $75 on it,
but he sold it to me for 40 bucks.
It looks like they sell them
for about what he was asking.
He knows what he's got.
But I'm going to put $70 on it,
and I'll come down a little bit over time.
I bought this Jacobs Pharmacy,
Atlanta, Georgia bottle.
Paid him 30, I think.
30 or 35.
I'm going to put $60 on this.
These Jacobs Pharmacy medicines.
There's not one on sale.
There's not one on eBay for sale right now.
This one does have that little crack right there.
Bruised crack.
But I'm going to put it on there for $59.99.
They some have sold this same bottle right here
for $100 on eBay.
When there's not any online for sale,
and somebody's wanting one,
they'll pay up for it.
And then I bought these bottles right here.
This is a 1915 Lakeland, Florida Coca-Cola bottle.
You can see the date right there.
He had 125 on it.
I think he sold it to me for 25 or $35.
I don't remember for sure now.
But somebody's got one listed for $200 on eBay right now.
It hasn't sold.
I think they're auctioning it, maybe.
But I saw one sold for about 70 bucks,
but I'm going to put mine,
I'm going to list it for like 125 or $149.99,
and just see what happens with it.
Coca-Cola from Charlottesville, Virginia.
I don't remember what I paid him for this, 20 or 25.
I paid him 70, I think, for the three bottles.
But I'm going to put $60 on this one.
There's not a Charlottesville, Virginia Coca-Cola
on eBay right now.
This one's in real good condition.
And this bottle here, I don't,
I can't find where one of these have sold.
This is a Coca-Cola Straight Side
from Woonsocket, Rhode Island.
Woonsocket, Rhode Island.
Got some damage.
It's got some bruises.
But I'm probably going to auction this bottle off.
It looks like it's had a price on it there
of 200 and something dollars.
But I'm not sure what this bottle's worth.
I'm probably just going to auction it off
and just see what happens on it.
And then I bought these motorcycle license plates.
Paid him $10 a piece.
I'm going to put $19.99 plus shipping on each one of them.
And what makes these good
is they in real, real good condition.
It looks like a lot of these things never got used.
He had 35 on these.
Gave them to me for $10 a piece.
And then he sold me these for $3 a piece.
But actually, I think he gave them to me for $10
after I got them picked out.
Instead of 12, he gave them to me for $10.
And I appreciate that as well.
And I'm going to put, since they in such good condition,
see, they look like they never got used.
I'm probably going to put them for $19.99 or best offer.
And I would come down probably to $15.
But that's the cheapest I'll come down.
And I bought this broom right here.
This is the only other thing I bought out there
from anybody else.
I could have bought a few other items.
And this guy had some copper pans
made in Korea for $5 a piece.
It could have made money on them,
but I didn't want to mess with them.
But this, I paid $10 for this broom.
I'm going to put $50 on it.
People got some of these same types of brooms
on eBay for $100, $150, and $200 a piece.
They call this, the research I've done says
it's a turkey wing broom,
but I'm not sure if that's what this one's called.
But I saw one of these sold just like this one
for about $50 and a little less.
Some of them sold a little less,
but I think it's a pretty rare broom.
I've done well on these West brooms over the years,
the old ones.
That was a pretty good pickup, 10 into 50.
Well, that was the little bit of stuff I bought down
at Webster Flea Market in Florida.
I'm going to make some decent money on it.
It's pretty good merchandise.
And I may go back down there this next holiday.
I got to wait and see what I got going on.
Webster down there on the holidays, it's awesome.
There's thousands of people down there.
And there's a couple of more flea markets
around that same area that if I have time, I would go to.
But I do appreciate everybody for watching the videos.
