She emphasizes the importance of skin preparation for dry skin and introduces a \"backward setting\" technique to blend products seamlessly and prevent creasing, resulting in a natural, cohesive look suitable for daily wear.
It's me your girl, Ivana Sunshine.
Welcome back to my channel this highly highly requested video.
My everyday 10-minute makeup is here.
I'm going to teach you guys how I achieved this a makeup.
Look it takes me 10 minutes to do it.
And once you figure out what brushes and products you need it'll only take
you 10 minutes.
Let's get ready.
First thing is skin prep.
It is very very very important that you that you skin your prep that you
prep your skin properly.
Please learn your skin type.
Make sure you are using the correct skin care because that's not only
going to help your skin, but it's also going to help to give you the
finish that you want in the end, right?
If your makeup is cracking, it's looking musty and crusty and dusty.
It's probably your skin prep.
I like to start with the Willetta.
This is a skin food.
Not only is it a great moisturizer, but it's also a great makeup primer,
especially for my dry girls.
I am Sahara Desert kind of dry the eye cream that I used.
It's still in my bathroom.
I forgot to grab it, but I'll put it right here on the screen this one.
Okay, this is all I used to prep my skin.
Now when I'm using the Willetta skin food, I do not use a primer with
that one.
Just the Willetta skin food.
This right here is the makeup by Mario F4 brush.
It is a dual-sided brush.
I use only this one brush when I'm blending out my base.
My 10-minute makeup mostly is blended out with this brush.
You have a loose large end and then the smaller one is just a little bit
more dense.
First product I'm going in with is the makeup by Mario.
This is a Surreal Skin Awakening Concealer.
I'm in the shade 420.
I like to start with my concealer first placing this underneath the eye.
Now, if you do not know the longer your concealer sits, it sets and it
dries down.
Now the longer it dries down the fuller your coverage is going to be.
I like max coverage even when it's just like a simple everyday makeup
look.
I still like full max coverage underneath my eye.
So I always place it there first and I allow this to dry down.
Also, if you have any dark marks, hyperpigmentation, you want to cover
up.
I like to put the concealer there also and I'm going to let this chill
for a couple minutes.
Now, we're going to blend out our concealer.
I like to start on the outer edge of the concealer and fade this first
because remember the longer your concealer sets or sits.
It's going to dry down and build the coverage.
So I'm going to leave that part.
That's underneath my eye until the last minute.
Is that a piece of hair?
Oh my God, my first tutorial and it's so ghetto.
Okay, so I'm going to blend the edge of this.
We want a nice fade and then I'm going to move on to the other eye
doing the same thing.
I'm going to blend out this outer corner and I'm pressing.
I'm not swirling.
I'm not dragging.
I am pressing the product.
This is also another way for you to build coverage.
Once you get to swirling and swiping, you're moving product all over
the place.
We want this product right where we place it.
So now that I've blended out that line now, I'm going to go up underneath
and again pressing this very very gently another tip.
Do you see how I am leaving this right under this like crease?
I don't I don't know what the proper name for it, but I'm not going
to put concealer here today.
At least I'm not going to put concealer here.
This is an everyday makeup.
The only time I will bring concealer all the way up to my lash line
is if we were doing eyeshadow because that concealer is going to
play as a primer for your eyeshadow.
But now that we are just doing an everyday makeup look, I'm going
to keep that skin revealed because it's going to keep that natural
shape of your eye and not take it away.
So I'm just going to blend my concealer up to I hate using the C
word but for the lack of a better word, I'm going to stop right
at that crease press press press press press now going in with
foundation.
This is the makeup by Mario Cerule skin foundation.
This is the original formula.
I usually use one pump probably not even that much but I'm going
to go in with the big side.
We use the little dense side for the concealer.
I'm switching over to the big side.
I like to take my foundation and go like this like I level it out
on my hand.
So that way the brush is not soaking up so much of it.
So now that it's leveled out.
I'm going to go in with my brush tap it on and then I'm going to
press this press this into my skin pressing this in again.
We are not swiping.
We're pressing because we want to build the coverage even though
it's an everyday.
Look, I still want the coverage though.
I still want to look polished and I'm going to blend this foundation
everywhere avoiding my under eye avoiding my under eyes.
So I'm going to do the lower half of my face my forehead my nose.
I'm even going to blend around here the side of my eye.
I am going to avoid my under eye until I've blended all of my
foundation out and then with what's left over on the brush like
barely any product.
I didn't even use the entire pump what's left over on the brush.
I am now going to go you see how you see this line like my concealer
and then foundation.
I'm going to press right on that line.
I'm going to press on that line until it fades see how you have
concealer foundation.
Look at that press on that line.
I promise I didn't just pass gas my phone vibrated.
I'm going to press until that line fades again pressing right
where those lines meet to fade it out.
Then we're going to back off now going in with my Fenty matchstick.
This is in the shade espresso.
I'm taking that same side of the brush that I blended the foundation
with I'm not going to put this on my face.
I'm going to use the brush to place this on my skin.
And again, I am pressing but I am pressing in a circular motion.
So you see how my hand my hand is going in circles to blend that
out now.
I'm using a bronzer.
We're not doing contour because we're just adding color to the
face.
We're not doing any sculpting.
I'm not interested in doing any shadows or shape-shifting.
I'm just adding some color and dimension back to the skin and
you're going to see what I mean in a second.
You see this side.
I look like I'm living breathing got blood in my veins and then
we're completely flat on this side.
Bronzer no bronzer.
So let's warm her up with love pressing this.
I like to press it on my cheekbone not under my cheekbone because
that's going to drag the face down.
The goal is to lift everything up.
I don't know the rest of it.
And again pressing towards the mark.
I'm kidding.
Sorry guys.
It's in me.
We can get into like contouring and highlighting and sculpting
the face and all of that.
We'll get into that later.
But this is our everyday makeup.
I'm going to take what's left over on the brush and just run
this down the side of my nose.
So this is my face so far as you can see I look like what the
girls will call a grease monkey, but I love this because I know
if my skin looks like this once I set it, it's going to look
like a porcelain doll.
Okay.
So now we're going to get into setting the face.
This is my secret to setting my face and it looking like a
filter in person.
Like you are going to look so airbrushed like do you have makeup
on or not?
I'm going to set my face backwards.
So I'm starting with my Mac Studio Fix powder.
This is in the shade NC 45 and I'm going to set my face everywhere
except my under eye.
So I'm pressing this in no swiping.
Pressing this into the skin switching to the Sigma.
This is the f25 and I'm going to press this.
I don't know that other brush seem like it had something in
it. So I'm pressing everywhere avoiding the under eye.
Setting all over the face.
Eyelid eyelid and now we're going to go on with bronzer.
This is the makeup by Mario.
I'm going to use the same brush just the other side of it and
I am going to press my bronzer in place.
I love this brush because it's like tapered as you can see so
it gives you like a nice fade when you're applying your product
and it's very loose.
I set my face with all loose brushes.
You do not want to use a compact dense brush because that's
going to pack on way too much product and it's not going to
have that airbrushed effect.
So I am pressing this everywhere.
I put the bronzer to warm up the skin taking what's left over
and brushing it down the side of the nose and the tip of the
nose.
I'm so used to doing long-form videos that I find myself like
rushing rushing rushing rushing trying to get everything out
in a minute and 30 is crazy work.
Now I'm going in with my blush.
This is the Dragon Fruit Days and the Morphe M204 brush and
again, I'm pressing this into my skin.
Now blush placement is very important.
If you want to bring the face up to lift the face, I like to
drop my blush off on the outer parts of my face on the cheekbone.
Once I've blended everything at this high cheekbone
point, I'm going to just take whatever is left on the brush
and blend this forward so that we don't look like we just
dropped blush right here, but it fades so only what's left
on the brush.
I think I want a little bit more.
I love this blush.
It's so pretty so so so so so pretty and I love this formula
because it just like it airbrushes the skin so pretty so
pretty so pretty.
And I'm going to show you right after I blend out this blush
why why we should blend backwards.
Why we should blend backwards guys.
Why Ivana?
Why do you tell us to do that?
I'm going to show you right now first.
I'm going to go in with a brush to make sure I don't have any
creasing underneath my eye.
What is this brush?
This is the Make Beauty.
It doesn't it doesn't have a like name or number anything.
I'm just going to go underneath the eye just in case I have
any creasing and press that out.
Now we're going to set our under eye.
The girls talked about mixing two of the huda powders.
I actually mixed three.
So I went in with the pink pumpkin first and then I took
only the cherry blossom from the cherry peach one.
I like to put that cherry blossom just for the added brightness
now going in with a powder puff.
I'm picking I'm pressing and picking up this powder.
Listen, if you take nothing else from this video today,
I want you to pay very close attention right now.
The powder is on the powder puff.
I'm going to take this and press.
I'm just going to press and roll this if you are having issues
with your under eye creasing.
This is how I combat that I take just that small amount of
powder and I press it into my skin first.
I am not baking.
I'm not going to bake.
I'm pressing this into my skin.
Now once I've set the under eye if I want to go in now and
bake I can.
Boom, but you never want to go in with a heap of powder first
just a little bit to set it set the eye down first then go in
with your powder if you want to bake.
Okay, I'm going to press all the areas that I want a little
bit of brightness.
So like my forehead down the center of the nose around the
mouth.
If you have issues with creasing here, I like to place whatever
is left on the sponge or the puff now because I have very dry
skin.
I'm going to press this in I can't bake like that because I
will be dried out.
Once I press this all in I'm going to go down and I'm going
to press this over my blush and over my bronzer.
Now you see how all of that is just mesh together.
It's faded.
There's no lines of demarcation there.
This is the reason I set backwards set that under eye last
because your setting powder is going to play as like a veil.
So even if you're not the best at blending or makeup period
this little hack will help you out.
It's so tea.
Here's a hack that Jenna taught me.
She goes in with her hyaluronic acid first and then her setting
spray.
This is the Iris and Romeo the reset luminous hyaluronic
setting spray and then I'm going in with my makeup by Mario
setting spray afterwards.
So I'm going to shake this up and I like to leave everything
on pretty thick.
I can't remember if she lets this dry but I'm going to go
in with my fan dry this down now.
I'm going to go in with my setting spray and I like to go
in pretty heavy make sure everything is wet.
I am a dry skin baddie.
So I got to make sure everything is wet and hydrated.
Okay.
I decided to pop on a few lashes because my eyes are bald.
Okay.
I'm going to add just a little bit of highlighter just to add
a little glow to the skin.
I don't want to be completely flat and matte.
So I'm going to add just a little bit of a glow for my eyes.
I'm going to go in with that same makeup by Mario bronzer.
Is it Mario?
I don't know.
I think people say Mario because it's like their accent.
I'm going to start so I started on the lash line and I'm swiping
left to right once I get up to the crease.
I'm going to stop a little bit on the brush starting at the
lash line running it left and right and then once I get to
the crease, we're going to stop like that and you're just
going to build this up to your liking.
I avoid this inner corner because I want to keep it bright
and I'm just going to keep layering this until it's to my
liking.
Also, you can run a little bit on your lower lash line just
to make the look cohesive.
Nothing left on the brush.
I'm going to go on that edge of the crease and blend this out.
So we don't have like a line.
My eyeshadow stops there.
So we don't have that line.
Now.
I'm going to take a little mascara on my bottom lashes and
I'm like not trying to make them flare or too dark or bold.
I just want to touch them to where I can see them to where they're
visible again because of the powders on our face.
That's it.
Remember this is the everyday look.
This is not like a wow pow full glam red carpet moment.
We will totally get into that.
So now I'm taking the Limitless Brown.
From Makeup Forever lip liner just a little bit.
Now I'm going in with the Cali Ray.
This is the lip guard.
It's SPF lip gloss and this is in the shade.
Tressless.
T-R-E-S-T-L-E-S.
Girl, what?
Okay, and here is the finished look.
