This video provides a comprehensive guide to 2026 Christmas decor trends based on the Dallas Market. It highlights a shift toward \"Traditional Revival,\" moving away from modern grays toward warmer, nostalgic aesthetics. The presenter also introduces \"The Seasoned Home,\" an interior design course focused on empowering individuals to create joyful living spaces regardless of their budget.
You know, Christmas is just 12 weeks away. I know, scary, but it's true. And guess what?
We're going to kick it off with the 2026 trends.
My favorite store. That's me with the wreath.
This is the only trends video you're going to need to watch this year. And why is that?
Because when I was at market for 10 days, I filmed over 90 gigabytes of footage.
I knew I was going to bring this trends video to you this year. And I wanted it to be beautiful,
magical, and inspiring. Who doesn't love Christmas? I mean, it's a time to bring back
all the items that you've collected over the years, not only from your childhood, perhaps,
but your children's childhood. You bring out those ornaments and those figurines,
the things that really make Christmas special and bring back the memories for everyone.
But how do you keep it fresh and magical and exciting to you, the person who's pulling it
together? My suggestion is to add a few new things each year. So pay close attention to
today's video on the trends for Christmas 2026. I bet you'll spot something you can add to what
you already have to bring in the magic. Here's how we're going to handle it. We're going to break it
down. My top five things, the top trending things by category, which nobody else I know of on
YouTube does that. And then the top five trends that I saw at market this year. It's super easy,
super simple, and then we'll be done. All right. But before we get into the trends, I have one
very, very, very exciting announcement to make. Are you ready? Today marks a very special day
for me because today is the day that we have launched my brand new course called The Seasoned
Home, designed for every season of life. The Seasoned Home is something I've been talking
about for over a year because I've been writing it, filming it, pulling things from my life from
50 years ago to put into this course. Over a thousand hours have been dedicated on my part,
not to mention all of my team. And I promise you this, there is not any AI involved in this course
whatsoever. As far as I'm concerned, it could quite possibly be one of the last courses ever written
by an actual human being. I'm not kidding because it's so much easier to do with AI.
But I didn't want it to be that. I wanted it to be my heart from me to you. Because you know what
I teach you in this course? Not only how to decorate for the season of life you're in,
but I dispel the myths of, I don't have any money, or I'm going to wait until my kids are grown up
before I get a proper sofa. I dispel all of those myths and I empower you, I teach you, I equip you,
and I give you the confidence to decorate your home now for the season of life you're in now.
When you do that, you will bring joy into your life like you've never known before. Because one
thing I know for sure, after 40 years of being an interior designer, I know that a beautiful house,
a beautiful home, has the power to change your life. So please join me at The Seasoned Home.
There's a link in the description box below or you can just go to my website,
www.rebeccarobson.com. Just know that enrollment began this morning and it will close on September
11th, one week from now, at midnight. After that, The Seasoned Home will no longer be available for
you to enroll in. You've got one week, so take advantage of the time. I know that we had over
5,000 people on our early bird wait list and they got their email yesterday. So the spots are
filling up quickly. I want to see you there at The Seasoned Home because here's what I'm going to
do. I'm not only going to teach you the principles, I'm going to teach you the why behind the
principles. Once you know why I make the decisions I do, why I do the things not only in my home but
in my clients' homes, you understand those things, you'll be able to do them too. It will be a game
changer, not only in the season of life you're in now but in every season you enter after that.
So meet me over at The Seasoned Home. Sign up this week. In fact, sign up now. I'll be excited to see
you there and we do have a forum so we will be in contact. All right you guys, I'm going to take
you right now back over to that 2026 Trends video for Christmas. So let's start with my top five
favorite things from market this year. It's time to get this party started. Hello Dallas Market 2026.
This year there was this deer that was so incredible. It's got light up antlers and I just
think he is awesome. I think he would be so fun to put anywhere in your Christmas decor. I loved
him. He was one of my favorite things that I saw. The next thing was this tree. I loved these balls.
They're all glass but they have like this texture to them. They're green and red. It's a very
traditional tree but you'll notice here that the green on the tree is more citrusy but you can see
a lot of the more limey green in there. Lots of berries we saw this year but I just thought this
tree was absolutely breathtaking. Look at the twigs that are in the tree. So they have put in holly
and magnolia and hydrangeas and they've made it a really yummy treat. Look even red. I think
those are amaryllis but look at that red pine cone. Is that just awesome? I'm finding interesting
things here at market that I think are different or that I've never seen before and I'm bringing
them to you. Here was another thing. Believe it or not this is one of my favorite things. I'm not much
of a purple person but it was the concept of these balls. These balls when you see them in real life
they're kind of transparent. These are plastic balls which are huge this year. We call them the
shatterproof balls and in this pink and purpley color it looked amazing on the tree if you're
into that color. Now I am not. I'm actually into the red version of it because this is my color
palette. So my favorite thing this year was I found this pillow. Doesn't this look like it's
grandma's house? Yep and I'm a grandma and proud of it. So look at the fruit that's involved. This
beautiful a real touch poinsettia. The real touch is very big this year. Then I found all these
picks. Look at it with the the sugared fruit and I just thought oh that is so me. Now this right here
this is a pick but they look so real. I thought they were absolutely breathtaking. Definitely one
of my favorite things for this year and you will see this in my home. Another thing that was one of
my favorites was the ribbons that I chose. Ribbons are huge this year. They're using ribbons more this
year than I've seen in a long time but I just thought those were some of my favorite things.
There were not a lot of new things but those were the things that I pointed out as oh I love that.
Shatterproof balls are getting better and better. What are the best parts about going to market
every year? I mean it's just literally the first week in January so it's we're not even I haven't
even put my Christmas decorations away by the time I go to market but I meet up with my best friend
Sarah Parmeter. Sarah and I are in Dallas, Texas for market week and we are about to see what our
room looks like. We got ourselves a suite so what we do is rather than get two separate rooms we stay
in the same room and we pile our money together and we're able to see someone you know a place
even nicer. This is called the Rosewood Mansion at Turtle Creek. It's kind of like you know a girl's
Okay so you walk into this entryway and what do you think Sarah? It's so elegant.
Sarah comes and helps me with my decorating every year and a couple of times I've actually flown
back to Wisconsin and helped Sarah. Sarah herself has owned a Christmas store and she is fabulous
at Christmas decorating. I can't think of a better person to spend my time with for a good
three weeks as we decorate my home. Look what the cat drug in. But today it's all about the trends
at market. Now are trends important? I don't know important is the word I'm certainly for retailers
it's important. For me it's a chance to go see what's new and to see what inspires me to kind of
come up with an idea of what theme I'm going to do this year. Sarah and I have the best time just
like walking the hallways going into all the different stores and seeing everything that's
out there before we make our decisions because we too want something to catch our eye and inspire us.
So let's start this category section with colors and textures. There are seven colors this year
that we saw that were really big and I would say the biggest thing that was kind of a surprise to me
was all of the chocolate. I call this color the hot cocoa theme. Different shades of brown
mixed with other things you see here it's mixed with pink and white citrus and amber but the brown
was just incredibly represented this year. It's just beautiful. This tree here is absolutely
stunning. Look at the brown velvet ribbon they used and again they mixed it with the citrusy
green of the tree and the pink and peach. It made for such a fresh look so if you're still into the
pink, pink is not as big a thing this year. It's really falling out a bit but if you have pink
why not add some chocolate brown to it. It's a beautiful color combination. We also see that brown
was mixed with golds and magnolia leaves. Look at these finial ornament type things so you'll see
touches of brown coming through in the different balls and the ribbons and also with the golds.
Look at this ball here that's a plaid ball and it's got the brown in it so there are different
ways to include brown in your theme. Brown even in the packaging underneath the trees. The next color
that I found to be extremely well represented was the citrus color of green. The traditional green
is still around of course because it will always be around but this year we saw such a resurgence
of this lime green and here it's in kind of like that satin almost like satin thread ball mixed
with plaids and the liminess. This is the John Mark collection but look at all the citrus green
velvets that he used and he added a lot of different things to his display. He brings it
down into the more traditional red and green but that plaid that brings in the red and green
and then all the citrus color as well. This tree has beautiful artificial amaryllis in it but look
at the display itself. Red and green, magnolia leaves everywhere but definitely laying itself
in its foundation and its addition to that citrus green. In this tree they've actually even brought
in the hot pink and the red so hot pink, red, and citrus. I suppose at market you would expect to see
red but we saw red this year in ways that I mean red was very well represented. Now this is red
and traditional green but red, red, red, red, red. It was everywhere. All the red poinsettias and every
kind of imaginable shape. This I thought was a beautiful tree with the red cardinals, the red
berries, many different types of red berry picks. It's one of the things I talk about in my picks
and sprays and twigs video. Again I highly recommend you go back and watch that because it's
something you're going to want to know and refer to as you begin decorating your tree or any of
your decorations this year for Christmas. Here's the deal, I've been an interior designer. I have
decorated hundreds of homes for Christmas and I have been creating content on YouTube for 17
years. That's 17 Christmases. Every single one of them with a different theme. People love the
subject. They love the topic and guess what? They don't know. A lot of people don't know how to
decorate. Do you know why I know how to decorate for Christmas? Because I had a mother who was in
love with Christmas and she taught me everything that I know and that's what I have perfected
and improved upon and just repeated over and over and over for so many years and that's why I love
to teach it and bring it to you and inspire you, motivate you, and get you excited about the season
that is coming like a locomotive. One of my favorite looks is the jewel tones. This year we saw a lot
in jewel tones. All the ornaments themselves look at that with a little tiny nubbiness on that.
These balls are just gorgeous. I love this rich green. Now that's not the citrus green,
that's a traditional green, but look how the lights around it, the reflection of the lights,
picks up a citrus look to it. Balls that were covered with sequins and rhinestones and this,
oh, look at this. Yummy, yummy. I don't know, cranberry? It's not even cranberry,
it's between a purple, but look at the pick that goes along with it. It's just gorgeous
and this beautiful, rich jewel tone purple. Even the turquoise, turquoise is definitely a jewel
tone. You can see here a tree that is done in the jewel tones, large mix of balls, lots of ribbons,
and the colors all coming together. And then, of course, when you think about it,
the jewel tones are always very well represented in the vintage trees that has the garlands and
glass beaded garlands and the glass balls and ornaments. So you can see lots of opportunities
to buy things in the jewel tones, including garlands. If you're into color, jewel tones are
big this year. Blue continues to be one of the most popular colors for Christmas year after year.
And so here you see it with white and all different shades of blue. There's everything
from royal blue to navy blue to true blue. There's chinoiserie, which is gorgeous and looks
really good with that Charleston look. And look at all these absolutely gorgeous blue balls with
white or with gold. However you want to do blue, it's available at market. Here we see blue brought
in with lots of gold in a more glamorous look. And that gorgeous, gorgeous velvet ribbon is just
stunning. And then, of course, you're always going to have red, white, and blue. I don't know,
I have a hard time with a red, white, and blue tree because I feel I can't get past Fourth of
July. But here you see the ribbons, the ribbons that do not have the wire on the ends. It's
definitely a more homespun look and it's used with a lot of chinoiserie. And then we finish
off here with this exquisite tree with the blue in different shades. Look, there's like a French
blue and a navy blue used together with lots of the mustard gold. We talked about pink for a
minute and I said that if you still have pink, here are some classy ways to do pink. I personally
am not a fan of the candy pink, but I do think that, you know, it has its place. If that's your
taste, that's great. But I thought this was very well done. This is pink. It's kind of a millennial
pink with some peach in it. And then, of course, pink takes itself all the way to hot pink. So
if you're into pink, it's still available. Now, of course, white is always in, but less so this year.
However, in my opinion, white is a basic and something that goes with just about any color,
any tree. Of course, clear. Clear is an essential. That's something I would stock up on,
especially when there are sales. Clear balls are always, always a winner in any tree.
Let's talk about lights and candles. Colored lights are making a comeback,
so much so that I have an announcement. Becky's gonna have colored lights on her tree this year.
And not just colored lights. I'm doing the round balls, you guys. I am doing the round balls and I
custom making my own strings of sweet and spicy colors. And I think it's gonna be absolutely
fabulous. I cannot wait to show you. Now, when it comes to candles, we saw candles in all forms. A
lot of them are battery operated. These happen to be flocked, which was interesting to me.
Of course, there's always going to be beautiful cloches with candles. We saw literally the
candlesticks that are taper candles that are flocked. So this flocked thing is not going away.
Now, many of you saw last year one of the big trends. I didn't see it as much this year,
but it still is there. And that is having candles on the tree. You may recall from last year's
trends video, I mentioned that I was not a fan of the candles on the trees, for the most part,
because they were battery powered and clipped on, but they were crooked. For me, crooked candles
would be very annoying. But here's a company that came up with a way to omit that problem.
They actually hung from the bottom a brass rod with a crystal on the bottom. Do you know what
that does? That weights the candle and it makes sure that it stands up straight. And that I can
get behind. I've always loved these candles that look like when they're covered, it looks like a
Christmas ball. And then they have a candle inside. Now these actually are battery operated. I've had
the real candles in the past. I've not seen them battery operated, but the good news is when they
are, you can close them and still have the candle lit, which would be quite beautiful.
Alright, how many of you remember last year this particular sconce? One in my entryway.
And I had two on either side of my fireplace and they were outstanding. My only issue was
that they were so tall that they would not be appropriate for everyone's home. Well this year
they came out with a shorter version and I think these are fabulous. So I went ahead and ordered
some and they will be in my home this year. Now here's an interesting way to use candles.
This particular company, they did the top of the tree. The tree topper was a candelabra with
shades on top of it. And then there were many many lit things. This category is remember candles
and lights. So now we're on the lit things. These are ornaments or figurines that were lit. Remember
the reindeer I showed you as one of my favorites? Well here's a gnome Santa and he is a lit item.
A huge thing that we saw that was very very big this year is outdoor Christmas decor.
And they are always lighted things. Of course there's always the blow up things,
which are not my favorites. I actually turned a house down that I thought about buying because
the people next door had blow up Christmas decorations. I know, I just think it brings
down the neighborhood. Alright, here look at this guys. I found the lit up grapes and I bought them.
They're going to be on my tree. My mother used to have lit up grapes and so I bought them because
again it's just a return to going home to the family and to the things that bring so much
memory to me. We also saw when it comes to Christmas ornaments and balls, huge balls right?
Now take a look at this. These are balls that are lit but they put these big balls in the tree
and they are lit. You can see in there it's got the fairy lights inside and that's what lights it
up. Like I said the outdoor Christmas displays were on full force. Can you imagine driving by
someone's house and of course big packages but that big huge sleigh and reindeer and this was
one of my favorite things. But this is a just absolutely huge angel that fits outside and then
a lot of this outdoor stuff they also decorated it to show how it could be used indoors or even
outdoors. Really these are all shatterproof balls. The big packages and look at that with
the sparkle lights and then there that gives you the perspective of how big that angel is. Wouldn't
that be amazing in your front yard? I wish I could get one of those but they're they're pretty spendy.
All right I'm standing here with Karina Ferris, hence the name Ferris Silk. Her whole family,
you guys for generations have been in the ribbon business and retail business and they make some of
the most gorgeous ribbons. I am buying some Ferris Silk ribbons this year so you guys will get to see
that when my collection comes out very soon. I wanted to ask Karina what she thinks what she
sees as the top maybe three trends or just give us any trends you think we're going to see in 2026
for Christmas. Yes well trend number one is going to be very warm neutrals paired with your
traditional red or burgundy. It's going to be a little play on just classic red and green. Obviously
that is the king color combination for Christmas for that beautiful contrast but we're seeing
chocolates, pecans, champagnes brought in but another big trend we're seeing are jewel tones
so that's going to be huge. So we're leaning into red green with a little hint of purple maybe a
little hint of sapphire. That makes it a lot more interesting right? Yes. Then it doesn't feel like
the tip it still feels traditional but with a modern traditional twist on it. Yes and we have
some beautiful gold magnolia leaves we're seeing a lot of that abundant foliage coming out of trees
to add that texture again it's a little organic but still very dressy. Yes. Because we love the
well done. We love the metallics. My favorite store J. Stevens. Ribbons ribbons ribbons we are
seeing so many ribbons this year it is unbelievable and it's not just the ribbons themselves and the
choice of colors and textures but so many different every color you could think of and then of course
I love the very thin quarter inch or a third of an inch ribbons that you use to tie your balls on.
You can see here we talked about the spice colors look at the chocolate brown and these spicy colors
of velvets are very huge and here's this whole thing I think this is four inch ribbon that's
all in one ribbon how beautiful would that be going down a tree. Even embroidered ribbons and
then of course again like last year we see the ones that have the words that are embellished on
but let's look at how ribbons are used they are using multiple ribbons creating bows and then
winding the different ribbons throughout the tree in unusual and beautiful ways so we saw
ribbons like there's no tomorrow look at this that is like a ribbon tree wouldn't you say
I mean I don't even know if there's balls on there there are but it was mostly ribbons for sure and
this is a good example here look at these big bows that have multiple different ribbons in them
and then wound through the tree beautifully and you can see here that it just cascades down from
one ribbon to the next there's even an ornament there look that looks like a ribbon or a bow
but perhaps the most interesting thing was the emphasis on bows guys I have never seen so many
bows in so many different textures and ribbons and materials as I've ever seen before that is a
giant that's like the size bow that was on my car when I bought it this is a bow garland I'm not a
fan of this perhaps I mean it's pink maybe that's why but I like I don't dislike pink you guys are
going to think I don't like pink but it just needed more things on it but it is a cute cute look let's
say I would do a nursery in that I think that'd be really cute and then of course look at this
this wreath with a bow on it that's actually lit this is a ginormous wreath like you need to get a
perspective of this wreath here we go I'm going to turn it around that's me with the wreath
it's uh huge the wreaths are made of nothing but bows bows bows bows bows bows they are
prolific this year at market and then we saw like these ornaments that are bows but they are
they're made to look like bows but they're like jeweled and fun look at this bow would look great
wrapped around the neck of a wine bottle or champagne bottle to give as a gift for Christmas
even the pillows had bows on them I have mentioned my picks and sprays video and I want to remind you
to go see that but this is one of the things that I purchased and going to have in my house
I thought how nice to have something already made up and it's just got pine cones and picks
now this is a pick that I believe I purchased this this year for my house I loved the brown
the black the copper all of that look of that warm and spicy look look at this there's a pick
that you know what this is those are antlers antler pick you know where that would look amazing
is on the top of a tree as a tree topper I love this pick great with all that warm spicy colors
this year and the gold pine cones but it is one pick that has all these branches to it again a
great tree topper blueberries were big we see blueberries everywhere and then we get back into
the fruits the leaves the pine cones with little pieces of stuff I've been trying to get you guys
to understand that the best way you can up your game is with your picks and your sprays in your
trees your garlands your wreaths and throughout all of your decorations it just adds so much depth
texture and yumminess to your decorations this tree has used the willow picks
to elongate the tree that comes in like this and makes the tree look extended
are you surprised that balls and ornaments are so far down the list well that's because they're one
of the last things that goes on a tree oh please leave me a comment below and tell me are you one
of those people that put your balls on first you're probably the same person that paints your
house before you decorate huh yeah we've got a lot to catch up on don't we you'll have to come back
in January I digress yet again I showed you this one in the beginning as being one of my favorite
trees on Olive Market with the transparent red green and the citrus colors with the knobby
little glass on it the pine cones using white and then even traditional green in there I think that
add addition of this traditional green just kind of gave it some depth and some warmth you can see
so many different colors and different opportunities when it comes to glass ornaments
and of course they put them on a wall with light behind it so that you can see if you have this on
a tree or in a window you're going to get the light coming through and it's beautiful
this copper color was well represented these red balls that are like cut crystal again that
old-fashioned more traditional look even balls that had a combination of red and purple but
they have like little designs on them with beads so a lot of different colors and balls and textures
that were added this year that of course go with the themes that I'm going to share with you pretty
soon but perhaps the most interesting thing to me is I came across this one company who specializes
in fact all they make is shatterproof balls and I thought they looked so good for shatterproof
I've always thought of shatterproof you know when you go see how you see a seam there these are the
more affordable ones but the big balls these are the ones that do not have the seams that are far
more expensive but they look real and look at the different sizes that they come in now this
company who makes these shatterproof balls and all these sizes they had this kit I wanted to
buy this kit honestly just to sit and look at it would make me happy these are all the different
shades can you imagine having this many choices lots and lots and lots and then of course the
use of very large balls we saw this a lot where there would be like one huge oversized ball
really big and then big balls and jingle bells are used in the ceilings a lot and they're just
a fun look and I loved this one that was very airy and actually I think that's actually lit
and this is one of my favorite balls I wanted to get this I'm not even sure I can't remember if I
did but I loved the different colors in this and how it went more rustic the texture of it was
amazing not sure what it would look like in a tree but this is a ball I had never seen before so that
was fun really big and last but not least one of my favorite things and that is figurines and objects
when it comes to figurines I include nativity sets and we saw all kinds of beautiful nativity
sets from medium size to ginormous you know where baby Jesus is like probably bigger than an actual
newborn I thought this one was so sweet Mary and Joseph and this is another large one not as big
as the first one I showed you but you can see that they come in all different colors even the bright
colors which you don't normally see in the wise men or the different nativities this was a beautiful
one as well all in one piece the holy family but nativities are definitely still trending I'm glad
because honestly for me personally I'm not preaching here I'm just saying that Jesus is the
reason for the season for me so I appreciate having a lot of different nativities to choose from but in
addition to that there were some gorgeous angels you guys know I love me some angels I love my
acrylic angel and I do love these angels that were hanging I'm going to use these this year
around the top of my Christmas tree hanging from the ceiling I thought they were just so precious
and they just like float around and they're playing instruments how old-fashioned and nostalgic is
that I did buy this adorable little small like fold out kind of looks like a little village church
scene and I'm going to use that look at this backdrop you guys I wanted to buy this I have
no idea where I'd put that I'd have to build a house for it but I did think that was absolutely
gorgeous then the next category I would say would be deer you guys know I love me deer one year my
Christmas theme was oh dear Christmas is here and this particular showroom had some great deer
that were very woodsy and natural looking they even made them in plaid this year good lord
we saw this last year but it's still trending the deer that is a a cross between a nutcracker
and a deer and then the little tiny now I've had these big these deer in the brass and the gold
before and they're really quite large this was a really sweet small set and I thought coupled with
some magnolia leaves looked really beautiful and then of course the dark stain on the deer I really
like this and it's coming in really well it's like a oil rubbed bronze or an antiqued look
birds are going to be big this year I'm using them in my home I love these birds cardinals are always
very a traditional look and it takes it back home again to that old-fashioned look small
Santas with the deer and then this was a very cute kind of old-fashioned Santa that's on his
skis and coming down and of course I love me carolers I don't know about you guys but if
anything speaks of midwest country or midtown USA it would be that candy store or that toy store on
the corner with carolers standing outside some tiny little stockings how cute would that be if
you had a new baby look at this Santa's boots how cute is that we saw stars again this year not as
big as in the past I thought this swan was beautiful I love swans because the name of my
company was originally ugly duckling interior so yeah it's about the swan and then of course well
when it comes to objects there are some really weird things out there I showed you some flowers
last year that were animated like this but this one happens to be a poinsettia who wouldn't want
that and then we've got I thought these were so cute and now are they Christmasy not really but
I think this would be a great DIY where you get these like picks and you stick them into a ball
and create like this hanging thing I just love that and here was another one those honestly those
are just pics you guys can you believe it wouldn't that be a fun thing all right I'm going to go
through this quickly but I want you to know that pine cones are 100% a huge thing this year pine
cones pine cones pine cones whether they be real or artificial they are everywhere look at pine
cone candles pine cone ornaments look at the pine cones around this deer's neck there's just so many
ways and so many places that you can use them and then pine cones that a tree an entire tree
done in mostly pine cones I even thought this was cute pine cones as a tree skirt
I might have to steal that one we are going to a lovely dinner tonight
nudie nudie so it's hand rolled are you sure you mean nudie yes it comes with persimmon
as well as a paracord black truffle persimmon is our color this season
and now what you've probably been waiting for is trends by theme now I think that decorating by a
theme is possible when you add just a few things to kind of change what you already have but if
you really want to do a theme big it's not something you can necessarily change out every
year if you did you would be what I would call wealthy it costs a lot of money to change your
theme every year I know because I do it I only do it because I make YouTube videos otherwise I would
be just like you I'd be bringing out all of my stuff that I have gathered for the last 30 years
and adding a little bit to it each year that's normal but I want to inspire you and encourage
you so let's take a look at the top five trends however before we do I had the opportunity to
talk to Christian at the Raz showroom what are you seeing for the trends for 2026 for Christmas
for holidays so we're noticing that for 2026 a lot of traditional is really what's going to be
trending up I think that's actually where our culture is going you know it's more about family
warmer deeper colors sitting by the fireplace and enjoying the holidays so what is this one called
so this is home for the holidays it's actually our number one introduced collection for 2026
kind of Ralph Lauren inspired we wanted to keep it a little bit casual but still keep all of those
classic plaids and tartan set our number two was black and white with touches of gold and
that's what we call bows and baubles the bows good lord have I seen okay bows have always been
in Christmas right we I teach how to make bows right but these are pre-made bows like you I've
never people who are made manufacturing these things got on this thing that bows were going
to be huge they did they're putting them everywhere they are so here's your circus yes so
holiday spectacular is our number three collection that we introduced for this season again we saw
you know the trend kind of taking a small peak but we wanted to ground it with really traditional
colors so bringing in icons like a toy soldier or a nutcracker that was a safe way to do it so it's
fun and it's great for people with children it is so it's very whimsical yeah yeah it has a very
again safe core to the collection yeah and it's a kind of a cute concept to put the air balloon
on top the hot air balloon so let me give you my summation of the trends for 2026 it goes very very
well with what we're seeing in home decor as well things are leaving the white and gray again I'm not
against white and gray but they are leaving that and we're headed into a more warm palette things
that have more cozy look to it colors are more cozy and the styles and the themes are more cozy
we're going back to nostalgia and we're going back to vintage items and you know those have been
around every year but some years they're more popular than others so I actually came up with
my own names and the first one is warm sweet and spicy it looks like this it looks like what I'm
going to do for Christmas 2026 when it comes to this look you have many options one of them would
be to go with the natural look more of the Charleston look where you've got the fruits that
are natural looking they look like real fruit dried fruit and they are used in many different
ways balls of fruits this is one direction that you can go in and it is the direction that I'm
going to use in my family room love love love this particular one look at those plums on that stick
and that one as well is one of my favorite things but it's definitely the way to get kind of
grandma's farm look in your home and keep it very traditional and southern charm looking
with this turn in our culture towards you know and you know what I think it is I think it's
we as a as a country I don't know about the world probably the whole world but we're really
kind of getting tired of all the screens all the distractions in our lives everybody has a phone
in their hand including myself and we have computers around us we have chat gpt I mean
everything is at our fingertips and what do we really yearn for what do we long for we long to
go home we long to go back to the country we long to be in a an old-fashioned christmas don't
we I mean I guess there's some people who don't long for that but I do maybe it's my age it could
be but I think that by and large that are as a people we're starting to turn back to those things
and what we see and when I say traditional I don't mean the classic red and green this year it's more
of a forest green or a darker green a richer red things have a more traditional look to them so
let's take a quick look at what the traditional revival theme looks like the revival on traditional
brings back of course the red and green but in many cases a richer shade of it with the berries
this tree we looked at for the citrus colors but this would be a return to a more traditional look
look at these ornaments here they definitely have that more traditional look and and here's a
chandelier that has been embellished with pines picks and pines and bows in a traditional look
these particular topiary trees I absolutely love I love this small tree with the berries the pine
cones at the bottom I just think this is such a traditional look and very very elegant in the
gorgeous urns that they had them in in this showroom now here we see the chinoiserie added
to the red and green which is a very traditional look the gold deer with the rich red not the
traditional red red but the rich red bows and the garland above it even lanterns the black lanterns
I think give it a very taking it back to a very traditional look here's a traditional santa look
at him look at his colors he's very rich in his red like a burgundy and a deep green this artwork
having carolers whether you have the 3d carolers or 3d artwork that looks very old downtown kind
of look to me a traditional santa claus and the ornaments that have the rich colors you can tell
here in this showroom look at this beautiful return to traditional the rich deep red almost
burgundy a green tree some beautiful picks and sprays are added and then having the nutcrackers
right next to them we see traditional looks also in things like accessories again taking it back
to grandma's house things that your grandma or your mother might have had in her home these are
being sold as items to use for your christmas decorating the rich green in the ornaments you
can see here too the rich green and red so what I call the more return to traditional is not this
I don't want to say garish but a more loud red that's what we've been seeing in recent years
taking it back to this richer deeper more earthy red and green is the look even having things like
little tea cups and finials I thought this this kind of looked traditional to me it's made out of
old music pages and it looks like something that you would have made with your grandmother
main street in a small town maybe in the midwest somewhere doesn't this look like a
decorating store in an old town somewhere downtown main street america would have cardinals it would
have this old world or old-fashioned looking wreath you'd also probably see some of these
fun ornaments that look like stars vintage glass bead garland the artwork telling its
story of something you would see kind of in a midtown or downtown or main street small town
somewhere in america now you may have a department 56 collection well this is one that I came across
I fell madly in love with I begged Jerry to buy it so that we could sell it to you guys if you're
interested I'm gonna have it in my house look at this it's the snow globes doesn't that look like
something that you would see in an old main street store kind of fun stuff that you'd see
downtown we saw we just saw a lot of that look at market here's the fourth one I named this one too
and I think it's so cute I call it snowed in and happy about it it is what I'm calling kind of that
woodland look a lot of the Norfolk pine is involved in that it might have softer greens
and pine cones and softer looking colors owls all kind of organic maybe some ribbons that
don't have the wire on the edges and garlands little packages that are on a wreath that is
really basically a twig wreath that has picks and sprays in it of course the twiggy tree with just
pine cones on it something simple this is a beautiful tree brings in we've talked about the
browns the ambers and golds this is just bringing in all the colors of this year the trends that
we've seen and the ribbons even the centerpiece on your coffee table with a deer on it the flocked
kind of ornaments skis hanging from the ceiling but we've got a lot of the flocked ornaments here
I love this thing this is actually part of a sleigh but it's an old-fashioned antique sleigh
that this showroom uses doesn't this look like a cozy living room with the deer and the use of
mercury glass and all natural elements added to it what you're seeing here is not just ornaments
these are elements of texture added even that ball at the bottom now I can see this tree being
hey we are snowed in and I am happy about that and my fifth choice I saw some of it not nearly
as much as I have in the past but you have to remember Christmas has always got glamorous parts
to it and there are many many many of you many of you women my age who absolutely love the glam look
so I'm not leaving it out but it is number five out of the top you can see most of them are going
towards more of a toned down look where we still have the glam and I call that the Coco Chanel
look as well as white and you know silver gold all that kind of stuff let's take a look at what we
saw in white this year look at this kind of these deer it's hard to explain this but it's like
they're like little nubs that just pick up the light it's not really glitter the fireplace oh
my gosh yeah that fireplace was amazing and and Christian was right adding the black and white in
the form of stripes gave it a different and more sophisticated look but you can see here there's a
champagne bottle and there's those those bows we talked about lots of beaded garlands these
snowflake ornaments even ones that you could hang and make it look like it's artwork all kinds of
beaded pearled and bejeweled chains that can be swung from limb to limb which is particularly
nice on a pokey tree by the way but you can see it almost looks like jewelry that's the whole Coco
Chanel thing and outside as you go along you can see they they set up their whole showroom look
with a grand piano in the center the black with the sconces it was a great first impression to
walk into and very classy and of course who doesn't love those dogs well that's it you've
