Performing more than 120 concerts a year, Yuja lives a fast-moving, nomadic lifestyle, travelling the world with only two small trolley suitcases filled with the essentials: dresses, shoes, an iPad, an iPod, and a smartphone.

At 27, Yuja Wang represents a new generation of pianists: fearless, technically brilliant, and completely at ease with the demands of the international stage. Filmed in a personal and contemporary style, Through The Eyes Of Yuja follows her through the rhythm of life on tour, revealing the artist behind the virtuosity.

Using portable cameras and smartphone footage, directors Anaïs and Olivier Spiro create a digital diary that reflects both Yuja’s public image and the dreamlike world surrounding it. The result is a personal, modern portrait of one of classical music’s most charismatic performers.
