No better place to do renovation directly in retail parking lot/ Living the warm and smoky weather

Good morning guys. I'm having a little breakfast at the little rest area. Um to be quite honest I'm almost like ashamed right now to be there. Um it's got I don't know if you can see but it's got um people that set up some tent. It's got big Harvey that have like um I guess they made laundry and they have like all their clothes hanging out everywhere yeah it's everywhere. Like people who left their big camper they just pulled the camper there and left with the pickup truck I guess or something. I don't know it's crazy. I went here that the rest area like I remember that me and Kelly when I pick her up in Kamloops we stop here and it was not like this like right now I just feel like uh yeah people camper van and homeless people just like it's quite the whole place here which is kind of sad to be honest. I feel like you know people probably see my van probably see me the same way you know you don't mean. So I don't know we're gonna eat my breakfast because I'm very hungry. Um get a shower. Today's kind of like you know one of those days that you just do like a bunch of stuff. I'm still a little bit tired. What's up kitty? So yeah I'm gonna eat that and we have a little bit more driving um and yeah a couple of things to do today. Alright guys we arrived around Vancouver. Uh I'm not a huge fan of the big city. Too much people but uh we're gonna do a quick stop a very quick stop at Ikea. I um want to see if I can get a little bit more of um organization if you want in the back of my van. So this is what we're gonna do. Um should be a super quick because like I said I don't like people. I don't like shopping. Yes you heard that right. I don't like shopping. So super fast we're gonna get what we want and come back here. Alright guys I got what I want. A lot of people. Oh there you go. Got one thing that I want which is this little basket. I thought that I could just buy one but they come in pack of two and that would be my food basket and I think the food basket is gonna go. Um I'm gonna put the hook right here. I already purchased it and I'm just gonna hang it out there and at night you know I can tuck that there and there and yeah everything will be out of the way. And by the way I never show you but my friend Tracy when I saw her she gave me her old curtain and I just doubled them and yeah now I have new curtain which I really really like it. They are very dark and just perfect. They are shorter than the previous ones but I don't mind. Like the cat she can go on a knead at night and all that is closed. She can easily just walk there back and forth. The previous one the uh was so long that the uh curtain was going into a bowl of water and all that so I was often putting a bowl of water on top here at night so she doesn't have to mess around with the curtain but now it's just perfect and I have to put my trim. The trim back uh around the door always fell like when uh it's a little bit of bumpy road so yeah this is what happened here. And the second thing that I got which that one I didn't plan it's a mirror but I'm gonna show you that. I hope that's gonna work I'm not 100% sure. So yeah it's those mirror with like uh so I'm thinking putting on probably on this side though right there put it like probably on like behind here so it's all stuck out of the way maybe something around that and when I want a mirror just boop and I have my mirror so yeah I think that's what I'm gonna do. I think it's gonna work. I have to check that out and in the back too sorry sorry to move you like this the back I'm gonna finish like the front that I just showed you with the whiteboard and then like I'm gonna have a shelf so um yeah that's the plan for um this summer to um not that I need that much storage I just like to have some space and everything have this space and not having to pull everything to get one thing behind you know or like I have like I don't have that much stuff in my van uh but yeah I like to have you know like it's just a nice space to probably put my blanket that I have for the winter maybe tuck them there for the summer things like this just to add a little bit of um storage and just yeah make things look a little bit better so yeah I think uh I think I'm gonna stay here and do my little renovation why not I'm here so if something uh doesn't work I can return it you know what I mean so I'm gonna go in the back I have to go underneath my bed to get the tools just a drill I just need the drill and I'll be right back all right guys I've been testing uh things here but this is too tall to go behind it's not gonna work so I've been kind of moving things back and forth trying to figure out I could like put it here but I don't like that's so visible I mean it's not the you know it's it's just a mirror so I think I'm gonna put it here this is my bed um so yeah I think I'm gonna put it here uh right here I had like something to hide this hole here uh which is this thing so I got this at the sorry with the lights not the greatest I got this which need to be paid again at the dollar store was just like one of those frames that you can you know paint and you know put kids kind of you know and I just cut the top and that was like against the wall and I was putting all my pens behind here so that was like a little pocket which I really like um I'm someone with like pens and stuff all the time so maybe this gonna go right here instead not sure or maybe I'm gonna make one like this with this type of wood we'll figure that out but yeah I'm gonna put the um mirror right here that's gonna hide that hole which is the hole too that I did for this um so yeah and I also uh remove the uh smoke alarm my smoke alarm broke now a couple weeks ago almost uh I just ordered one it's coming should come tomorrow I think something around that so um yeah so I think the smoke alarm maybe it's gonna go there somewhere uh or maybe I'm still gonna have some space here for it but yeah let's put the mirror first and figure out after so the little pocket with the pens are here the mirror is here so when I need it just flip it pull it there you go so yeah I think that's gonna be a good thing as long as it doesn't make like uh noise when I'm driving hopefully it's not gonna move but yeah so I'm just gonna have the smoke alarm to uh figure out the place maybe here or here whatever uh we'll see this when I'm gonna get it this week so yeah and oh yeah and the little basket I have one banana as a test but I think it's gonna work and at night like I said I just grab this and just tuck this behind here and tuck this behind here and there you go completely sealed this was when I purchased the van was uh they had like a big cage if you want from separate the front from the back so this is where it's cut it was for that cage so yeah there you go kitty just relaxing in the sun hey kitty kitty oh you don't want to talk to me I think it's got some bird yeah that's oh there you go hello all right oh I think that's gonna be it for me here guys um I have to go do laundry and finish to edit a video so I think that's gonna be it for today um if you're not already maybe thinking about subscribing uh we shouldn't be very long in Vancouver try drag grab grab a couple package uh which I'm gonna do first thing tomorrow morning uh when it's got no traffic nobody I'm gonna pick that up I know most of them already are already there uh just one package that I'm gonna wait which I'm not sure how long it's gonna take it was in the plane yesterday when I look so should be very close from coming hopefully this week and we can head to Vancouver Island for a couple weeks and take the ferry uh to Prince Rupert if you don't know so yeah that's my plan for um the rest of the summer and all that so I hope you enjoy my little trip to IKEA shopping and making a little bit more space in the van a little more storage no not space uh storage um which slowly things start to be put it like where I want it like it's crazy like you just move one thing it make a huge difference you know now I'm not gonna have to worry about my food they're gonna be there that's gonna be their place I'm gonna have nice little mirror you know like everything's got a little place slowly so just make me like really happy and the storage in the back that I'm gonna do in a couple months or so um that should really help me to put all the rest of the things uh back where they're supposed to be like because right now oh I mean don't look my bed too much I didn't do my bed but this is usually like what this bed situation look like you know a bunch of wire which I order some uh things to kind of like hold all the wire together I have cherries which I mean I doesn't mind like one thing in the bed but yeah right now it's just like the kitty pad which I'm gonna put back uh where it's supposed to be like I have the box underneath here uh it's a good place for it and yeah this is recycle which I have it's crazy like when you have such a small space one thing out of space just make them like look the place so messy slowly slowly guys we're putting things back together here all right uh thanks for joining me and I will see you soon
