This is Booth's Real Old Willow, made sometime around the first quarter of the 20th century,
1912 through to around 1930s. There's the date range on these marks. A nice conserved 5.75 inch
diameter rimmed saucer. You can see the central well here, just over two inches. Let me show you
the marks on the back. Booth's Crown Marks, made in England, Real Old Willow with the 8025. Do note
there is some glaze crazing, some fine glazing, little linear cracks in the glaze on the rear and
on the surface of the plate, but no staining on this. And the gilt rims are very well conserved,
really nicely decorated and in bright condition. A little glaze inclusion just here in the cut
well, which is palpable. You can just see that little brown mark there, that's a raised inclusion
that's just been caught in the firing in the glaze. But otherwise, a very nice early example
of Booth's. A spare saucer for the standard size teacup, available from the Vintage and Antiques
website. Follow the description link, do have a browse through on all our Booth's Real Old Willow.
Very popular pattern from the early 20th century, got some nice older pieces. It was made right the
way up until the Royal Dalton years in porcelain. This is earthenware, obviously from the original
production of Booth's. Thanks for watching.
