Range Rover Launches First-Ever Electric Model

Well today we're in final assembly three at our Soliel manufacturing plant and it's a really exciting day for all of our employees here as we reveal the new Range Rover Electric. It's a really really important product in the portfolio and we're very excited to take it to the market. We are revealing Range Rover Electric which we think is the pinnacle of what the Range Rover stands for. Our customers value refinement, craftsmanship, the breadth of capability and Range Rover Electric brings all of that to the next level and elevates these attributes. It's quieter, it's more effortless and at the same time delivers on all promises in terms of capability. It can still weight 900 millimeters, it can still tow your trailer, it delivers everything you want of a Range Rover. It was really important to build the new Range Rover Electric here in Soliel in the UK because this is the home of Range Rover. We've got the expertise and the capability to deliver the industrialization and the complexity of the product that's being implemented in this production facility and also the facility in Wolverhampton which is the electric proportion manufacturing center. Range Rover is a hugely value creative product to the UK economy and to British industry. We source over 60 percent of our components from UK and European suppliers and it drives employment across a huge network supplying components into this factory to build these amazing cars. We are really entering an amazing time for Range Rover because in the next few months we in Range Rover alone are going to reveal and bring three new electrified vehicles to the market. Today it's about the Range Rover Electric. Very soon comes the Range Rover Sport Electric with its reveal and then we already announced the Range Rover GT. Really looking forward to this.
