Video Summary
AI GeneratedA vlog documenting the final 24 hours of a 10-day visit to the narrator's parents' new home in North Carolina. The day is filled with family activities, failed and successful outings, and the bittersweet process of packing to return home.
Spend a day with me in North Carolina.
So my last video was a video of me and John road tripping to North Carolina.
And I have actually been here for 10 days now.
John did leave about four days ago.
He drove back and I'm flying back home because I stayed a few extra days.
But I thought I would bring you guys along with me for a day in North Carolina.
So I just woke up and I'm kind of getting ready for the day.
Not really.
I'm not putting on makeup yet and stuff.
Because Ronnie and Erin are going to pick me up because we're going to go to a farm stand.
And I'm so excited about that.
So you can tell I just woke up because the room is still dark.
So I'm just opening the windows to get some light in.
But yeah.
So this is the room I've been staying in for the last 10 days.
I'm at my parents house.
They have a new home.
It's pretty cool.
It's a little different obviously.
But I'm just so excited to be here.
I'm going to change so we can get to this farm stand.
All right.
I got my fit on for the farm stand.
Let's go downstairs and eat some breakfast.
Hello Quirky.
He comes last night.
Trim his claws and just clean his ears and stuff.
He got mad and bit me.
The reason I'm quirky is because he's old.
He's 21.
And he has no teeth.
He has like a few in the back.
But the front teeth are gone.
So his bites are just gummy.
They're like gummy but hard.
So I'm in my parents new kitchen.
And I'm going to be making some cinnamon rolls.
Basically I wanted to get these cinnamon rolls.
Because as you know Ron and I grew up eating at A.
My mom had rooties.
When we were kids and Fridays were cinnamon roll days.
And so I just have been craving them.
And literally these two very cinnamon rolls.
This icing is so good.
Look who's here this morning.
What's up everybody?
Guess what I'm making.
You're gonna make french toast sticks.
We're making cinnamon rolls.
Oh really?
Yeah.
Oh that's awesome.
Pillsbury cinnamon rolls.
When did you get cinnamon rolls?
And look who else is here.
Say hi to everyone.
Those things are done.
Now I'm going to put the icing on them.
I don't like cream cheese.
But when it's mixed with sugar.
This is the one you have to get.
You have to get the one that's cream cheese.
Here's our liquid gold.
I'm going to ice these.
And I'll show you the result when I'm done.
I got so excited I forgot to film.
But it's breakfast here at the Merrill house in North Carolina.
So today's my last day.
And it's sad.
I'm going to eat my breakfast.
Look who's here.
Hello.
Do you want a cinnamon roll?
Yes.
There's one right there.
I'm kidding.
There's one more over there.
You're not ready to eat it.
Look at him.
No I wasn't.
I had three.
No sir.
It's okay.
I just wanted one because we're going to the farm stand.
They probably have pastries.
They do.
They have bread and pastries and cookies.
All right.
So now I'm with Ronnie Nairn in the car.
Hello, hello, hello.
And we are going to a farm stand.
I saw this on TikTok.
It was a viral TikTok.
And I really want to go.
Are you excited?
She's making us drive four to five minutes away for this.
Well, it's worth it.
I know.
I'm excited.
But we could have, I think we probably could have found one closer.
No, I'm excited.
Saturday trips in the truck.
It's sunny outside.
Yeah, yeah.
It's sunny.
It's a good day.
And I don't know.
It's just, it's kind of fun to go to farm stands and support your local farmers.
They're like good faith farm stands.
So nobody's running them.
You just show up, grab something, and then like Venmo or put a check or cash.
It's really fun.
It's like nice to know that there's like, you can do that.
And people are not going to steal from the stand.
But in Ohio, where I live in the area, there is a woman who's wanted because she is stealing
from certain like different farm stands and stuff.
You should catch her.
Should I?
Yes.
Instead of a fake farm stand.
Then catch her.
Like Scooby Doo.
Yeah, maybe we'll do that.
Or you can start your own farm stand though with your tomatoes and peppers.
Pasta sauce.
Yeah, and pasta sauce.
Oh my gosh.
The pasta sauce is for me, not for anyone else.
Anyways, we're on our way to the farm stand.
I'm so excited.
Look, straight up says closed.
But this is beautiful.
Look at that view.
It says open Saturdays, 8am to 7pm.
Today's Saturday.
Yeah, but they might have sold out.
If you guys saw it on TikTok, I'm sure other people saw it on TikTok.
Man, do you think people came at right at 8am?
But this was such a fail.
So I made Aaron and Roni go to an animal refuge farm instead of the farm stand.
So here's my banana bread.
You get to pet little goats now.
This is so cute.
Are you kidding me?
Look at this.
Look how cute.
This is gold.
Can you ask him about the banana bread?
Check in.
We've already made it this far.
Okay.
You have to check in with the goat.
So basically, the farm is not open to the public,
but they are specifically today doing tours of the animal sanctuary.
There's so many like different refuges here and stuff.
Ooh, I stick to the lemur one.
It's fun.
They jump on your shoulder and everything.
Oh, I would like that.
Okay.
So now we're at a little farmer's market to make up for everything that was going on.
Banana bread, here we come.
Okay, guys, we ended up doing a little farmer's market and it was great.
We all bought stuff.
No banana bread, but Aaron got banana peppers.
I did.
So that counts, right?
Yes.
So now we're just gonna go get some coffee.
We got some coffee and now we're back on the road.
And yeah, we're gonna go back to my parents' house and I'm gonna do some laundry.
I feel like this turned out to be a great day.
Look at these flowers Ronnie ended up getting.
They're so beautiful.
They're so pretty.
Aren't you happy we went, Ronnie?
Yes.
I want to show you guys what I got from the little farmer's market.
I got little facials.
Now, these don't look like your typical facials, right?
You put the powder in the bowl and then you add the liquid,
then you mix it together and then you add it to the face.
And so I just have never seen a facial like that before.
So I just kind of thought I would try it.
I have a laundry basket and as you can see,
the room is kind of a mess and I'm gonna do some laundry before I leave
because this is my last day here.
I just want to make sure that I have clean clothes
because then when I get home, I can unpack my suitcase and just put clothes away
versus having to put them in the washer and wash them all again and all that stuff.
So I'm going to grab everything that I need to eat.
There's a lot of food that's in here.
I might have a salad and avocado.
So I've got just this salad mix.
I'm gonna put some balsamic vinegar on it
and then I'm going to top it with this oil.
This is the Graza drizzled extra virgin olive oil.
Some salt and then pepper and I'm gonna add this.
And last but not least, some leftover grilled chicken and there's my salad.
Perfect.
Look at how beautiful this room is.
This right here has been my napping spot.
So I'm just gonna lay down and close my eyes until Ronnie and Aaron come back.
So I was with them then they dropped me off here because they had to go do some stuff
but now they're coming back at some point.
Then we have one more video we need to film for my options.
But yeah, I'm gonna take a little nap in here and eyes for a second.
All right.
So we just finished filming our last video for this content batch of Maryland videos.
It was a good one.
We um, it was a good video to end on.
We read some of your guys' feedback.
So that spilled the tea.
So stay tuned for...
What are we gonna do now?
Swim the pool!
We're gonna swim, yay!
Look at my parents pool.
This is the new pool.
Wow.
It's literally so nice.
Ronnie and I are gonna swim and just have a chill little afternoon.
Everyone needs a break.
We need a break.
Even quirky needs a break.
Look what's going on over there.
Oh, that's a good boy.
It's your new home.
How are you feeling?
You got some food on your chin and you're kind of dirty.
Let me clean you.
Oh, he's just a little old man.
Apparently, he did really well on the road trip from California.
Same with Tiger.
What?
As I was swimming and Ronnie's swimming too.
I saw...
What?
I thought it was funny.
I saw something in the trees.
And I can't tell if it's fake or if it's real.
Do you see that?
It's green on this side.
I literally think it's a real something.
I feel like I'm in that Spongebob episode where it's like there's something so beautiful right
there, but I'm really freaked out by it.
Okay, see the thing that's confusing is like what is that white thing?
Is that the body of it?
Oh god, Ronnie, you freaked me out.
I think it's a moth.
Do you think it's a real moth?
Or it's cocooning.
Maybe it's cocooned.
Maybe it is.
I don't know.
Very interesting.
If John was here, he would probably go up to it.
I should send him a video.
So now that we're done swimming, we are waiting for some dinner.
Our parents are picking up some Mexican food.
And my laundry is done.
So after dinner, I think Ronnie and I have some PR boxes we're going to unbox.
And then I don't know.
I don't know if you're going to stay longer.
You could watch a movie or something.
What do you want to watch?
I don't know.
What is there?
Do you want to watch a teeny...
Do you want to watch one of the logger boys?
I don't know.
I'm going to start folding all of my clothes.
But if you guys didn't see on Ronnie and Erin's channel, they have a house now.
Oh yeah.
That's so exciting.
That's so cool.
I'm adjusting.
It's all so new.
It's a new season.
Then why did you take it?
I don't know.
I couldn't decide if I wanted it or not.
Yeah, so new season for everyone, for you guys.
You're going to miss me.
I'm just going to have a new year.
I know.
But I'm going to be back real soon.
She was a really big help.
I'm really tired now.
So Ronnie just left.
So I'm going to take a quick shower, freshen up.
I had to put my clothes back in the dryer because for some reason they weren't dry.
I think I pressed the wrong button.
So while I wait for that, I'm just going to shower and kind of straighten up the bathroom,
get everything ready.
And then I kind of need to go to bed early because the movers are coming pretty early
tomorrow.
So I got to just like prep and I'm going to leave my parents' house and get out of the
way for when the movers come in the morning.
And I mean my flight's tomorrow anyway.
So I'm kind of like bittersweet packing up tonight.
All right, I showered.
I put some clean clothes on and now all of my laundry is officially dry.
I tried some new skincare tonight.
We got some PR and we got Kodaly.
And this is their Vino Pure like line.
And so I used their cleanser, toner, the serum, and the moisturizer.
I'm really liking how it feels.
It kind of feels like weirdly enough there's nothing on my face, which I like that.
Yeah, so I'm going to go ahead and pack everything.
And I thought I would try to do the thing where I do like time lapse.
Maybe it will be like aesthetically pleasing, maybe not.
So let's give it a try.
Hitting a wall.
Trying to decide if I should finish packing up tomorrow or not.
I'm so tired.
I think I might finish in the morning and I'll, even though it's going into the next
day, I'll bring you guys along with me.
I just have to wake up really early and just fold all the clothes and pack.
It's just late now.
Really got delayed with my clothes not being completely dry.
But I think if I go to bed now I'll have more energy to pack everything in the morning.
Okay, that's what I'm going to do.
Yeah, I'll do that.
All right, I just woke up.
And it's about, it's 7 a.m.
We have a lot of packing to do and I'm so tired.
I'm going to go ahead and start packing.
So let's do this.
I can't see what I'm doing.
No, I can't.
It's so cold.
I always get so cold in my room.
Okay, let's do this.
My room is now packed up.
Everything is packed.
I'm glad to leave.
Thank you guys so much for watching.
This is just such a crazy, like, new season of life that we're all entering now.
And so just thank you for all of your love and support.
It's been a good 10 days here.
I'm excited to go home now.
Obviously, I'm sad to leave.
But it is what it is.
And yeah, so that, to me, honestly, that was exactly like 24 hours.
Like a full day of being in North Carolina.
So yeah, thank you guys for following along.
And I will see you guys next time.
Bye.
