"Islands in the Stream" was written by the Bee Gees but originally recorded by Kenny Rogers & Dolly Parton and released in 1983, earning a nomination for Single of the Year that same year. Rogers and Parton performed the duet together on "The 17th Annual CMA Awards" and were later nominated for Vocal Duo of the Year for three consecutive years from 1984-1986.
