The video captures a bittersweet farewell to the barn, detailing the specific feeding needs of horses, pigs, chickens, donkeys, goats, and a colony of cats.
No trigger. Trigger now! Oh my gosh, he's so tall. He's got quite a belly on him. Welcome back to my
channel and for those of you that are new, welcome to it! So today is a big day, it's actually a big
night because I'm actually filming this at night so hopefully we don't run out of daylight. We've
had a really busy few weeks and as the title states, this is the last feeding routine
in this barn on this property because we are starting to move the animals tomorrow so
tomorrow morning. So that's why I'm going to do this tonight so that you guys have it and I have
it for my memories because tomorrow morning we are going to need to be fast and I will not have
time to pick up the camera so this is officially our last feeding routine in this property. So
very exciting, very bittersweet but we have a lot to do before the sun goes down so let's go ahead
and get right into it. If you guys are excited for this video, if you guys are excited to see our last
feeding routine then make sure you go ahead and give this video a big thumbs up, don't forget to
subscribe to my channel down below, make sure you turn on those post notifications because we have a
lot of updates happening very soon. So my entire tack room actually got cleaned out so we are now
feeding outside of the tack room so we just pulled out our metal bins. All of my horses just get a
half a scoop of Purina Equine Senior. No, Trigger. Trigger, no. Trigger, do not thief. Hey, no. No, sir.
Now that all of the scoops are filled, it's time to do my quinity supplement. I just do one scoop
in each feed bowl. Trigger keeps trying to steal my feed. It's so much nicer in the tack room. I'm
building the barn and we were feeding sort of like this. These guys are all sharing one stall
and last but not least, everyone has grain. Very unorthodox over here, I'm not sure why
he won't move but they will soon. These three are eating, dogs are with me. Now it's time to
give hay to everyone. So I feed three string alfalfa. So it's in the bed of the ranger right
now because we are moving everything out of the barn. This routine feels so different and I don't
know why, like obviously it's the last time but since we've moved everything over it's not like
a normal feeding routine so it just feels so different. My last night feeding in the barn
is officially done for the horses. They have all their dutch doors open so they can go out there,
go to their water troughs, go graze on pasture throughout the night but grain and hay for the
last time in the night routine feels so weird. It is so humid in the summertime here. I am already
sweating and I've only been up here for like not even 10 minutes it feels like but time to fig,
time to fig. That was weird, I put feed and pig together. Time to feed the pigs so we're gonna go
ahead and scoop them up some feed. They don't leave tomorrow so this is not my last time feeding
the pigs here but it is for like a full routine so time to feed these piggies. The moon is out.
It's getting dark fast. Hi piggies! Hello! Oh my gosh they're so tall. The pigs are eating
and there's really not much left to do. I'm gonna check on the chickens. They're already up for the
night but water troughs are full. Chickens have food and water. Those ones are a lot easier
because it's like set it and forget it so if we fill it up they're both like five gallons so it
lasts over a week so we're good. For the chickens, everyone has water. The donkeys, they just graze.
We actually opened up the back pasture and I have a little visitor. We opened up this pasture so
and the back pasture would be together. Hi Jack Jack! So everyone's in the barn eating. The goats
and Dinky are over there. Jack is a good boy and he doesn't do that. I don't really have anything
in my bucket anymore buddy. So they just graze. He's got quite the belly on him so as you can see
he doesn't need food. Good boy. All right we're done over here. So I'm back over to the barn now.
The last animals to feed over here are the cats and then we're done. We've actually been feeding
them in our attack room because I want it to be easy when we have to catch them. So I'm gonna
kick all the dogs out of the barn and then we're gonna feed them in the attack room. The cats have
gathered around so they're ready. Okay so these three are out. Miley's over there. No no no Lexi!
Get out of the barn. Thank you. We're gonna close this. Bagel's ready. Good boy. Okay gate's shut.
Oh Scout come here. Come on. Goodbye. All right door is closed. One cat, two cat, three cat. I
need some more cats. All right time to feed. They're being very nice to each other right now.
So this is the point of the plan is because I'm trying to take the strays. So that cat right there
that is technically not any of our cats but as you guys know that looks like let me see.
I don't think that's Clutchie. That looks like Rango. No yeah that's Rango actually.
Clutchie's not in here yet but Clutchie's a little bit like not as feral so I don't know
maybe that is Clutchie. I have to like look him right in the face but anyways.
So we want them to be comfortable in the attack room because they never are. So it's been working
because this is how we will capture them all. There he is. That's Clutchie. Clutchie's less
feral but I'm very excited to catch them because they both need to be neutered.
So I really want to be able to move them with us. So that's why we've been working on getting
everybody fed in the attack room because I have no problem like catching our cats. So we have
Petey. She's so easy. She's always here crazy. Always here meaty. So easy. Monster easy. She's
sometimes will kind of not show up because she's with these two a lot. Stella. She's kind of hard
but if there's food she will definitely come. And then Bagel. He's pretty easy. The only one is Rex
and Rex is like really super easy. He's actually up front right now. He always stays up front.
And then Mishka. Mishka's going to be one of our hardest beside these two because Mishka has only
been coming back around like every fifth day. So we hardly see him but we're going to try for about
five days in a row to do this. But we have eight front cats and then these two make ten. So let's
give a little count. So one, two, three, four, five, six and then Mishka makes seven and then Rex who's
up front makes eight and then nine and ten. So the goal is to be able to take them all because I do
like these cats even though we've never been able to touch them. I feel like they know us. They know
our cats but if they stay at least they are very familiar with this you know property. Stella.
Butchy. Okay I'm gonna get out because I do feel like I'm stressing them out a little bit but
basically the plan would be that Mike would be over there when I am in here feeding because
you know they're okay with obviously me being in here and then he'll slam the door shut and
then we'll have all of our cats. Okay bye kitties. All right you guys well that is it. That is the official
last nighttime feeding with everyone on the farm. All right you guys well that is it. We have
successfully completed our last like night real feeding routine on this property and as you can
see summer has taken its toll on me. It is so humid out here but that was a successful feeding. It
seemed like it went by really quickly now that the goats and the donkeys don't really require
anything. They never really have but since they don't really require much. So just mainly the
horses, the cats, and the pigs who we really have like a real routine with now. But this has been
so fun and I have enjoyed for the last five years showing you guys my feeding routines,
my morning routines, my night routines here within this farm at this property. It's been so fun
and I am happy but sad to say this is our last one here together in this barn
but I cannot wait for our next one in my next farm. So that'll be really exciting and something
to look forward to. All right you guys well we love you. It's been a fun journey so far
and I'll see you in the next one.
