Orange County to continue using license plate readers off state roads

Florida law enforcement agencies are adjusting their use of Flock license plate readers (LPRs) following a mandate from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) to remove them from state roads. While some agencies are completely pausing the technology, others are maintaining cameras on local and private roads to assist in criminal investigations and safety.
