Let's jump right into it right now.
Hey folks, Technivorous here. Today we are taking a look at this beauty.
Now this is the Creality Wash and Cure Machine.
So, it basically comes with several different components. I'll show you those in just a minute.
We are going to break this bad boy down and do a wash on an object that I just printed.
Now, before you got here, I had a little whoopsie.
So, while we're waiting, I'm going to go ahead and fish this guy out of the tank and I will see you in just a second.
Alright, so before I fish that out, I'm actually going to do a couple other things.
So, you can see that there is a beautiful color on this. It's like right in between the orange and the red here that you can see.
So, this is the cover for this machine. We'll go ahead and finish unwrapping it here.
Get this out of the way. Set that down right there.
Got my awesome orange gloves. These guys are sick.
Let's see here. So, I need to fill this up. Let's go ahead and turn it on first.
This is the first time I've turned it on.
And it is on and it is waiting.
Basically, what we need to do is fill the tank up here.
We're going to be using the rack.
And this guy basically just slips in and out of here pretty easily.
And there's a fan in the bottom here that agitates the liquid that we pour in.
So, we're going to go ahead and pour in some 91% IPA here.
That's going to take forever. Let's go ahead and remove the cap.
Unfortunately, when I went to Walmart, they didn't have any of those nice big bottles.
So, I have like 20 of these little guys.
I'm going to have to open them up one by one here.
The nice thing is, is this does come with a clip-on cap here.
So, you can seal it in there and it won't evaporate away.
You don't have to pour it back into your bottles.
It pops right off for easy storage.
And here we go. This will be the last one.
Let's try that a little more delicately this time.
Let's get down. There we go.
You got to be smarter than what you're working with, right?
You're still making a mess.
I guess that's what funnels are for.
Alright, well, that is obviously way fuller than I need it.
My object is going to sink way down to the bottom of there.
Because it is just a tiny little ring.
Let's go ahead and fish this guy out.
Shake off some of the excess there.
This thing does have a handy rack.
Let me just drop that in there.
Handy rack. It looks like this.
So, if the part is still attached, you can sink that in there and it will agitate with it on there.
We're not using that today because, as I said, I had a little accident and knocked the part off.
Let's go ahead and remove that glove.
Put the proper lid back on the printer here.
Go ahead and put the lid on the washing machine as well.
And we are going to find the button.
That was a pretty good view of our object just rocking away in there.
You can see the fan kicking on and off.
And you can see it agitates the object and moves it around.
It's basically shaking off all of the excess resin and diluting it into this IPA pool that we have here.
And it is quite strong, as you can see, whipping the object around in there.
I set it to normal speed, so it's got about 30 seconds left.
After this is done, we'll go ahead and get everything cleaned up and we will try the curing mode as well.
So, I'm pretty excited to see that in action and we'll see if we can get a good close-up shot like we have here.
Alright, as you can see here, it's finished.
Let's go ahead and get some more gloves here.
We'll retrieve our object and get it ready for the curing process.
We'll take this and set that guy right up there.
And you can easily just lift out the basket here.
Grab your item.
I do have a little bit of support on here left that I'd like to remove.
But it should come off pretty easily, so I'll just snap it off with my finger real quick.
There you can see a very nice, clean print.
It's hard to see in the light, but the logo came out pretty well.
And we're going to go ahead and toss this into the curing machine.
Alright, so now we are going to put the curing plate on there.
There we are.
We'll go ahead and place our object right in the middle.
Close enough.
And let's go ahead and put the lid back on this bad boy.
Now we're going to do a curing cycle.
So we're going to switch over. We're going to hit the mode button.
And we're going to do a normal speed cure.
And why not? Let's do a slow speed cure.
And we'll hit play.
That's going to run our cure on the ring.
And when it's done, we should be good to go.
Pretty nifty machine. I'm really digging it so far.
Simple to work with. Very intuitive how both of these run off the same system.
The fan itself there is run off a pretty awesome system using magnets to spin that fan.
There's no actual contact there, which is pretty incredible.
It's very, very fun to watch, very fun to use, and effective so far.
So let's see how well it cures.
And if this is a nice hard cure, I'm going to go ahead and give this 5 out of 5.
Because this is a pretty awesome machine from what I've seen so far.
Alright, the object should now be hard and ready to go.
So, slide that over there.
Oh yeah, very, very nice.
Came out hard, very clean, not sticky at all.
I'm very, very happy with this.
Overall, very, very nice machine.
Does exactly what it's advertised to do.
And I'm pretty happy with that.
So there you have it. I'm still running a few more tests on this machine,
but so far I'm very, very pleased with the results.
