FOSTER CARE CHANGES CREATE HURDLES FOR FAMILIES IN RECOVERY

Two North Texas nonprofits, Nexus Family Recovery Center and Hope Cottage, are collaborating to support families navigating the foster care system. Amidst management transitions and caseworker turnover within CPS, these organizations focus on providing alternatives to child removal and supporting successful reunification through family-centered recovery and foster care training.
