Dolly Parton Shows Oprah Her Tour Bus

I'm standing outside Harper Studios. This bus has been parked here since 4 a.m. this morning. This is Dolly's rocking tour bus. I'm gonna go inside and uh check it out. Dolly's in there waiting on me. Here we go. I am waiting on you. You're waiting on me. Hey girl. Get up here. All right. Oh nice. Come on. Oh my goodness. You know what this is like a double wide. Let's go to the back and then we could yeah. Are these fresh to me? Yes. These are fantastic. I have these sent from LA through the winter here in Nashville. Oh my goodness. And you can have one so beautiful. Anyway this is where the you have three bunks where you can have a couple of drivers. And this is your room? Yeah. I even got my own little bathroom. Look at that. A little shower. But I'm so little I can just sit right in there. You cannot sit in that tub. Oh I can. I do all the time. That tub. That is a little teeny tiny baby tub. It's kind of like you can take a little. Wow. A little bath and a little shower. So are all your girls on here? Your wigs? Yes. Come here. I'll show you all of my all of my goodies. This is how I. Oh my goodness. How's that? How's that? You need one of those. You've never traveled by bus. No I've never done by bus. Well I love it because I can do all of my reading. All my dressing. All see I live on my bed. Really? And I just sit up here. I do all my work. This is my little pray do. You remember I always told you I have a little place to pray. This lets up also when we're traveling. I just take my little things put them. So this is your little prayer altar. Uh-huh so I can sit in the bed and do that or I can if I want to kneel and pray I'll do that. Yes but you know what I have I have at home a prayer what I call a prayer chair. I have a chair that I go to in the morning for prayer and meditation and I keep my bible there and all my you know spiritual ornaments ornamentation and stuff where I just take a moment myself every morning. Yeah. And it's always like where the sun comes up so it's great. And and sometimes I'm like you I'll just do it in bed too. Yeah. I do it everywhere and all my houses I have chapels and places. Really? You can pray. That's wonderful. That's wonderful. But anyway here's my little cosmetic area. Do you is this where you get yourself all dollified all dollied up here? Stuff. Wait a minute your stuff in your chairs are so little. I know well I'm tiny. Look at how tiny this chair is. Wow. Look at that. I love this. I love this. I have that. I have one of those. I use mine as a bookmark. That was on something. I thought it was so pretty. Yeah I love that. Gypsy. So beautiful. I like all the coloration in here. Yeah I know it's it's really beautiful. I really enjoy the colors. Do you eat on here? Do you go out to restaurants or what? I usually cook. I cook and have I either cook at home or I'm on low carb right now. So I got so I have a uh my sister Rachel takes care of all my things. She has a wonderful crew. Yeah. Nice. Mozzarella cheese pepper jack cheese. Yeah I have quiche that's made with meat skins. Pork rice for crust. So I try to do low carb like through the week and then I eat what I want on the weekends. So it's really set up great and I carry my ice creams and everything so when I do fall off my diet. You have you have it all here. So you you get everything done right here and you never have to leave the bus if you don't want to. I hardly ever check in hotels anymore. Really? Yeah. So I have the bathroom up here and then I have I close this off. The air you know look we have these doors that kind of you know just close so we've got several layers we can either you know just kind of. Very well done. It's nice. Very nice. Well I'd love to take you on a trip someday. I'd love to go with you sometime. Maybe we'll just go on a trip. Somewhere. That's what we could do.
