Triplet Trouble (1952) is a Hanna-Barbera Tom and Jerry short where three seemingly innocent kittens (Fluff, Muff, and Puff) are left in Tom’s care, but turn out to be sadistic troublemakers. They torment Tom, and later Jerry, leading the rivals to team up to punish the kittens. Mammy Two Shoes leaves Tom to babysit three cute kittens who immediately begin causing mayhem, such as using skates to slam Tom into doors and turning Jerry into a hot dog. Initially, Jerry finds the kittens’ abuse of Tom amusing, but the kittens turn on him, prompting a rare alliance between Tom and Jerry. Tom and Jerry work together to exact revenge, using a serving cart, pies, and a watermelon to teach the kittens a lesson. Directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, produced by Fred Quimby, and released on April 19, 1952.
