I'm Jacob.
I'm Yuri.
And we're going for a drive.
2026 Ford F-350 versus F-450 Dually.
Why do we have these two big trucks?
Why not, Yuri?
Ford had these available to us
and we had never driven a regular Dually before.
So we want to see what you need for a Dually versus F-350.
Why it tows so much more.
We got a Power Stroke over there.
We got a Gasser over here.
Let's go.
Yeah, yeah.
Horsepower and torque.
430 horsepower, 485 pound feet of torque
for the 350 with the 7.3 Godzilla V8.
And that F-450 has 475 horsepower,
1,050 pound feet of torque
from a 6.7 liter Power Stroke diesel V8.
Yeah.
Okay, straight up.
I really like this 7.3 Godzilla engine
combined with this 10 speed.
It is so nice and smooth.
I want this in an F-150.
Ford, you are missing out on an entire market here.
Straight up, I love driving a big truck with Duallys.
This is so fun, so menacing.
I fit in zero parking spots.
I just parked next to school buses all week.
I can't use the drive-through.
I can't parallel park in my kid's drop-off lane.
It is very fun to be inconvenient to everyone.
Yo, talk about the torque though.
It has a lot of torque, but I'm not towing anything.
So it really doesn't matter.
Okay, so before we get to all the towing stuff,
which is realistically why somebody
would buy either of these,
let's talk about the looks
because they actually look quite a bit different.
I'm in the 350.
It's a narrow body.
Next to that thing, I'm kind of embarrassed.
It's really embarrassing.
I don't even know.
You might as well buy a Maverick at this point
if you're not gonna get a Dually.
I also kind of do feel like that.
Like at this point, I feel like you should
either just get a 250 or a 450.
So you can get a 350 with Duallys.
And I think the 450 Dually gets you a wider track
at the front, a little bit of a wide body.
You get a better turning radius
with a 450 than a 350, which we did test out,
which was oddly enough, I thought the 450 would be worse.
I also thought that, but that's cool to confirm
that yours is in fact better than the 450.
And then, yo, I got straight up
commercial grade tires on here.
I got the Conti HDR5s.
I didn't even know these tires existed, but it makes sense.
And you know what the crazy part is?
The PSI, you can max these out to 110 PSI.
That is a quite high PSI rating, but I mean,
it makes sense if you're towing a lot of stuff,
you probably want some extra pressure in there.
Yeah, have you seen that meme where that chick
was filling up the tires and she's like,
I was trying to get it to 100%,
but the closest I could get was 90.
Ha!
I did see that.
And this thing is on Generals,
which is owned by Continental.
So shout out Continental, dominating this segment today.
So these are skinnier tires, but you know,
when you stack them at the back, it adds up.
It's nice to have.
If you don't think too hard about it,
but you kind of think about it,
that's actually a full drag setup
because it's got really chunky rears, two of them,
and it's got skinnies up front.
I love, I love the steel chrome wheels
and I love tan lug nuts.
I wouldn't even know where to start
on how to remove those tires at the back, the wheel.
I don't know anything.
I'm scared for my life that anything goes wrong with this.
Trying to leave my driveway to get around my Mazda,
I just drove over my lawn.
Cause I'm like, I don't know where I'm going.
I can't tell.
I've almost clipped so many light posts and stuff with this.
Dude, those 450 wheels look so sick.
The chrome is perfect on those.
Are there people who get this for a fashion truck
who don't tow anything?
They just want dualies.
Cause like, you know what?
I'm okay with that.
Oh, people for sure buy that just for the look of it.
Cause it does look so sick.
You have like wide body front fender flares
and obviously the wide body in the back,
which also forces you to get the,
all the marker lights on the front,
which looks super cool.
Kind of like a Raptor or a commercial vehicle
where the 350 doesn't have any of that stuff.
And yo, diesel actually sounds pretty sick.
Like I don't like diesel.
I don't care about it,
but I sound like a frigging school bus rolling around town.
And like, that's pretty fun.
Yeah, yeah.
Whistling diesel.
Hey, yeah, yeah.
So I previously drove an F550 camper van,
which had pretty much that same setup,
an older version of it.
Felt pretty cool.
And like, you could literally just tow
this massive camper van thing with it
that's attached to it.
Plus you can also tow stuff with that, obviously.
All right.
Should we get into towing
or should we get into more looks
and differences between each truck?
Cause I actually have a base model truck on the inside
with the tiny screen,
a normal key,
cloth seats,
a middle seat right next to me
and pretty much nothing fancy, no 360 camera.
How about you, Jacob?
I have the opposite of everything you just listed
because I am not poor in my Lariat.
You got an XLT over there.
I'd be embarrassed to even see that badge on my truck.
I have leather interior.
I have a massive screen.
I have digital gauge cluster.
I have a key fob with remote start on it
that I can keep in my pocket.
I have a nice column shifter.
I don't have a center seat cause I don't need one.
Yeah. And you can get the same stuff in this
if you get the Lariat or like the King Ranch,
which is pretty cool.
And then there's a 550, 650,
but I don't know how it all works.
And there's two fifties.
There's a lot of something fifties.
There's a lot of fifties,
depending on how you spec them.
If you're going commercial or a regular,
what do you call it?
Residential when you get an F-150.
I don't know.
All this stuff's crazy to me.
Like I can't even imagine having to buy a $100,000 truck
to support your hobby.
Like your hobby needs to be over $100,000
to even justify an over $100,000 truck for that hobby.
Yeah. That's exactly it.
Like if you're getting either of these things,
you obviously have some sort of business.
I would hope to at least get the write-off benefits
of either of these two trucks.
But like you definitely have a business
that you need to either tow stuff or put stuff in the bed.
Maybe get a gooseneck
because if you get a gooseneck or a fifth wheel,
which these are, I think both configured with the pre,
I guess the option to make it ready to accept one.
And then you can tow way more than you could
with just a regular hitch.
Yeah. This, yeah.
I don't know.
It's a lot.
I think, okay.
I've seen dualies lowered, like low rider style.
Like that's cool.
That is super cool.
And I mean, this thing like narrow body,
like you wouldn't lower this.
Like this is just like whatever.
You got to do it to that thing with the dual.
I've lost all respect for narrow body
after driving a dually.
Okay. Wait, I haven't lost all respect.
Like, hey, that Ram Power Wagon was pretty sick.
There's like, it's fine.
It's fine.
Just dually is so cool.
I feel like, you know what I look like?
I was wondering, I'm driving around.
I'm like, what do I look like?
I see a tow truck driver and a black tow truck.
I'm like, I look like a tow truck driver
except I'm wearing a white sweater.
Yeah. You a hundred percent look like a tow truck driver
but also still kind of fancy, but not super fancy.
Cause you got the XLT.
So it kind of makes sense.
Like XL and XLT, you mean business.
Anything above that, you're just trying to flex basically.
All right.
So I guess we should probably switch it up.
Talk about towing and payload and engines
and ways you can spec it out and finish off the looks.
Cause you know, I think halogen is kind of the way to go.
Oh really? Really?
Cause I mean these headlights on this Larry are pretty nice
but yeah, let's switch it up.
Now that I'm in this poverty spec vehicle
the first thing I've noticed is actually something
that you have that I did not have.
You have a blank button at the top of your infotainment
in that Godzilla engine thing.
And I have an engine break
because I've got a diesel engine over here.
Yeah. Yeah.
It doesn't really do anything unless you're a towing
or going downhill.
I don't think so.
You know, have fun with that.
I instantly feel 1 million times cooler in this
even though this is like cloth seat spec.
This is so sick with the tires
in the back, seeing that wide body.
Do you want to feel less cool?
No.
Honk your horn.
What about yours?
Same.
That one should be going.
Train horn would be acceptable here.
All right.
Towing hit me with it.
That F-350 can tow up to 19,500 pounds
with a hitch when properly equipped.
And this 450 can tow up to 30,000 pounds
with a hitch when properly equipped.
So this is for like towing cars or campers?
Probably campers, right?
I mean, either or like that's so much weight.
More than jet skis and more than side-by-sides.
The amount of jet skis and side-by-sides
you could tow with either of these is absurd.
And we'll put the payload ratings on the screen as well.
Whatever the maxes are for both of these.
Honestly, just go to the configurator
and just mess around.
That's probably the most fun you could have
if you actually care about any of these numbers.
There are so many different ways to spec these things out.
And depending on how you do it,
you could possibly ruin the intention of it
if you get the wrong like axle ratio.
And if you're looking for any truck with duallys,
check tsb.truecar.com.
Maybe a Ram, maybe a Chevy, maybe a Denali.
And I also did notice that now that I'm looking at that,
you know, narrow body, small little baby truck,
Maverick thing over there,
you got a really small bed
compared to my massive long bed in this thing.
Very, very difficult to parallel park.
I'll tell you that much.
Hey, if we pop both hoods, do we both have engines
and do they both look cool?
Absolutely we do.
And do we both have dipsticks?
We both do.
But I think the diesel engine
does look a little cooler over there.
And what would be the Total Energy's recommended oil
for your Ford truck?
For the F-350, that would be the Total Energy's
And for the diesel,
that would be the Rubia Optima 1100FE 10W-30.
Okay, so where do you find a lift big enough
to lift these trucks up and do the oil change
or do you just roll under and just do it on the ground?
I mean, either or works.
I mean, your mechanic I'm sure could figure it out
or just take it to the dealership.
And yo, with all the comforts and luxurious stuff
in this F-350, this doesn't feel intimidating or bad
and it just feels like nice, normal car.
That thing feels like an F-150 inside
because all the screens and everything,
it's like really nice to just be in that thing.
Although I will say unloaded,
these are kind of uncomfortable obviously
because they're super duties,
but I'm gonna say that the 350 is less comfortable
than this 450, at least maybe as it's spec'd
with these like really nice cushiony,
soft non-leather seats
and maybe the extra tires also help on this.
And we do have drive modes in both of these trucks.
However, shockingly, there's no sport mode in the 450.
All right, I guess we should double check
if the visor's extending in each of these.
Three, two, one.
Full pass.
Yeah, it seems like it's pretty much the same size
in here with the back seat room.
I see you got your child seat, I got my child seat.
Yeah, nothing to complain about in here.
I mean, having this extra seat, like the jump seat
is also pretty cool in this base model spec.
And it's really nice
that you still have Apple CarPlay in both of them.
Even though I've got a smaller screen,
there's no problems with it in the 450.
I still have hard buttons for climate, just like you do.
Yeah, but it is that old infotainment
where you have to like scroll over
to the Ford button in CarPlay
and click that to get back to your normal stuff.
Like you are missing a lot of modern technology.
That's like back in the same generation as your F-150.
Yeah, my 2018 is pretty much
exactly the same with this screen.
You also have heated and cooled seats, which is really nice.
You have a heated steering wheel as well.
And one cool option that you have
is you can extend your mirrors.
Power, folding, power, extension.
All right, but let's figure out
if a less optioned 450 is more expensive
than a more optioned 350.
Well, that's a good question, Yuri.
We'll start with the F-350.
As spec'd, that one is $107,304.
Canadian.
And this 450, as spec'd, XLT, $99,400.
Less money than a 350.
I guess, okay, I don't care about either of these.
I don't need any big truck stuff for anything I do.
So like, I would not want to live with either of them
for more than like a week.
Do you care?
You use a trailer.
Which one would you pick in real life?
Okay, given the options and features that that one has
in the Lariat and the options that it has in the 350,
it has like pro trailer assist.
You know, if you're a truck guy, you don't need that stuff.
But it's cool that it has it.
It has like the trailer hitch assist,
all those like crazy, fun, cool features.
It has a smart scales and all that stuff.
So like, if you actually tow and you, you know,
you want to know what your weights are
and things like that,
that truck will help you hook up to trailers
and do that stuff.
So if you're not doing it as frequently,
or maybe if you're towing different things,
that is really nice to have.
But if you know what you're doing,
you got a dually, which obviously at this point,
I think you do know what you're doing.
This would be the one that if you're obviously towing
like a crap ton of stuff, you want this one.
But you, specifically Jacob, you got your trailer,
you got your Race Drift Corvette,
you got to take one of these home with you
and live with it for the rest of your life.
They're both 100K.
Which one?
Honestly, this is a bit of a cop-out, I'll admit it.
I just want that 7.3 and that 10 speed in my F-150.
That's it.
That's all I want.
It's the perfect truck at that point.
So dually is not cool enough to overdo features
in this motor and gas.
No, dually is super cool.
I just don't need it.
Just not cool enough.
No, it is really cool.
I just don't need it.
Jacob 350.
Yeah, Jacob's not cool enough for a dually.
All right guys, thanks for watching.
Thanks for subscribing.
Shout out trucks with lots of tires.
Trucks, towing capacity, payload, six tires.
Literally use none of that, just fashion trucks.
I'm Jacob.
I'm Yuri.
And we just went for a drive.
Check out this other truck.
And we'll see you in the next video with trucks in it.
