Meta removes Facebook and Instagram ads linked to malicious apps targeting Indian banking users

Meta has removed dozens of fraudulent ads from Facebook and Instagram following warnings from the Indian government. Scammers used sexually explicit content to trick users into downloading malicious Android APKs designed to steal banking information and drain accounts.
