Cat in a tree rescue - Spicy
Sorry about the 10 minute video, but I don’t split these up into parts for views or engagement.
I received a call from Nicole in Peebles, Ohio about her #cat Spicy that had been in the tip top of this dying Ash tree for 5 days. No one local would help her, so I made the 2+hr drive down there to see if I could get him down safely. Spicy was very mobile when I arrived. He was actively trying to climb down but unable to figure it out. We set up an elevator for him to get into but he never approached the basket. It is likely that the elevator would have worked if we left it up there overnight, but having made the drive, I was not going to leave with him up in the tree.
Spicy was a good boy, but a #scaredycat

AI GeneratedA rescue operation successfully retrieves a cat named Spicy, who had been stranded on a high limb of an ash tree for five days. After several failed attempts using a basket and kitten calls, the rescuer uses strong-smelling food to lure the cat close enough to be safely captured in a bag and returned to its owner.
