This summer I've been trying to hang out
in New York City more.
The weather has been pretty nice,
people are out,
and honestly it's just pretty good vibes.
As nice as it is to be able to travel
and go film fun videos going on random side quests,
half of me is having the best time ever,
but half of me is also thinking
how much rent I pay to live in New York City.
So after my last couple travels,
I decided that I'm just gonna hang out
and really take advantage of living here.
The past couple months I've just been filming
on my camera and random clips on my iPhone.
Not really sure what I'm gonna do with the footage,
so here's a little part of my summer in New York City.
♪ He's taken everything I got ♪
The summer kind of kicked off
right when the Knicks won the championship.
One night I biked around the city
after they won a playoff game.
This is crazy.
And I've never really experienced something like that
where there was such pride and happiness
for a sports team in a city.
Honestly, pretty cool to see.
I can't stop smiling.
Oh, this is a love city.
I also spent Fourth of July here.
I went to go watch the fireworks with some friends.
We found this random spot near the East River
and the fireworks were pretty good.
But later that night, we were sitting outside
and then saw even more of a firework show.
Honestly, not gonna lie,
these ones were kind of better than the actual show,
but definitely illegal.
My girlfriend, Kyla, is spending a month
living in New York City to see if she likes it,
so we've got to hang out a good amount.
Then one day we decided we were gonna go surfing.
What's the temp outside?
It's pretty ******* hot.
Pretty freaking hot.
You're just copying me.
Me and Shadi going surfing in the city.
She's gonna hop on a train, so.
For an hour.
I don't speak English,
but I'm so excited!
Okay, we had to check the waves.
They were kind of ass,
but that's honestly on us,
because it's two o'clock.
On you.
On you!
You slept in.
You slept in more.
I was ready to go, and someone slept in.
Slept in.

This is low-detonated.
You okay?
Yeah, I'm okay.
Okay, that hurts.
Kyla fell off her bike.
I fell off my bike.
Welcome to New York.
Oh my God, that was so annoying.
And then my bag opened,
and then everyone's picking up all my bagged stuff.
Ouch.
Stop saying ouch.
Saddle scars.
Go Mets!
That'll be mine.
You still have your bike?
At least you get something on me.
That's so funny.
We made it to the baseball game.
This is so sick.
She got us.
We're the plus ones.
This ---- is fire.
I've been in New York for four years,
and I've never been to a Mets game.
Oh, look it, Kelly got the pretzels.
So this was really cool to see.
Of course, we had to get some overpriced ballpark food.
Still can't believe how much the hot dogs cost.
And try to get on the Jumbotron.
Trying to get on the cam.
And we actually did make it on TV.
It was a pretty good game,
and the Mets actually won.
The Mets won.
I thought they were gonna lose.
What?
Then we found out our friends Jed and Amanda were there,
so we all met up, decided to hop on the train,
and head to Flushing for some dinner.
All right, this is one of my favorite times of the day,
because I get to make an ice cream latte,
but also maybe not my favorite part of the day,
because I know my inbox is waiting for me.
You've got mail.
So being a full-time creator,
most of my revenue actually comes from brand deals,
but in order to get brand deals, you've gotta email.
And emailing, for some reason,
is just what I put off the most.
Opportunities get buried in my inbox,
and I would always much rather be out filming
than digging through my emails.
And that's where Superhuman Mail comes in.
And shout out,
because they're actually sponsoring this video.
Superhuman Mail is part of the Superhuman Productivity Suite
and it uses AI to help
with the repetitive parts of emailing,
making my inbox feel way more manageable,
so I can spend less time digging through messages
and actually focus on creating.
This has kind of been my routine lately.
I'll get my IVL computer.
Email's ready to go.
Sit on the balcony.
So the first thing I do
is use the Superhuman Mail Ask AI feature,
where I literally go,
what emails do I need to respond to today?
And then it goes through all my important threads
and emails that I gotta respond to
while I just sit back and...
No, seriously, this is a pretty cool feature though.
Then another feature I like,
when I wanna be on the move
and do something around the city,
I pull out my phone,
use Write With Voice.
I kinda just say what I wanna get across,
and then Superhuman Mail goes,
does its magic,
and literally just writes a perfect email in my voice
that I can review in seconds,
which is honestly just so clutch
to get work done on the go,
even just using my phone.
So get back to what matters most,
and if you want emails to stop feeling as overwhelming,
you could go check out Superhuman Mail
and click the link in the description
to get one month free.
Besides a lot of emailing
and trying to get some brand deals,
I have been trying to edit a lot more.
At the end of the day,
YouTube is my main job.
I have so much fun doing it,
and honestly, it's the only reason
I'm at where I am today.
So I don't know why I haven't posted
for literally two months.
So definitely trying to lock back in a little more
and try to get some more videos out for you guys.
Also recently announced
that I'm building a coffee company with Kelly.
And we're building a coffee company,
which is super exciting.
So we've also been working on that a lot together.
And then I've also been working
on No Pressure a little bit.
I'm not a coder whatsoever,
but I kind of try to vibe code a new website.
It's turned out pretty good,
and I think I'm gonna change the website soon.
And then my friend Brendan came to visit,
and he actually does some pretty cool art.
So we did a little photo shoot in the city
with his art and No Pressure.
We made it here to Chinatown.
Really loud.
Brendan going crazy with the setup.
And this is the shot.
Looks pretty sick.
We got the bridge,
and we got Brendan painting.
It's amazing.
I don't document that much
of just me being on my computer working.
But when I'm not doing that,
I'm definitely trying to be as active as possible.
These last couple years,
my main sport I've been playing is basketball,
especially with Kelly being my roommate.
He's always fiending to go play basketball.
And now, I also fiend to play basketball.
It's a beautiful day in New York City.
We're gonna play a little basketball.
I'm probably gonna score 100 points today,
so, yep.
Yo, we got the ham sandwich.
Every game, I gotta...
Ooh, ooh.
Make sure I get a PB&J.
Not today, though.
Fake food.
Luckily, our gym has a basketball court.
Honestly, almost like every other day
we go play basketball.
Today, maybe not the best day.
I recorded one game,
and I think I missed literally every shot.
I've also recently gotten back into soccer.
My friend Jed started this soccer group chat,
and now, we've been playing soccer a bunch.
This is the squad we got going today.
Now, everyone's black cleats
because we're all into it now.
Pretty sick views right here, too.
Started raining.
Somehow, me and Kelly got scoped into playing
with all the other guys.
Bro, we should've recorded that, bro.
We should've.
You scored two goals, right?
I scored two, you scored two.
You scored...
Your first one was really good.
No, I scored one.
No, you scored two.
Oh, I did.
Well, I hit the goalie.
I don't know, I have a bad habit here.
I hit the goalie, like, kinda hard in the face.
My little brother.
But now, we're playing, and it's raining,
and it looks cinematic.
Oh, gotcha!
That was a sicko shot.
Uh-oh.
Well, that was kinda my summer here in New York City.
Even just watching and editing those clips,
I feel like my biggest takeaway
is just doing everything with balance,
working as much as I can,
but also having fun as much as I can,
hanging out with friends,
going to do simple things that I enjoy.
Honestly, that's kinda what it's all about.
