The Hijacking of the Achille Lauro

In 1985, four militants of the Palestine Liberation Front hijack an Italian ocean liner, the Achille Lauro, demanding the release of Palestinians incarcerated in Israeli prisons. The fate of several passengers lie in their hands, including many Americans—among them the Jewish-American businessman Leon Klinghoffer.
