British Open Super Sporting 2026 | Wind, Fire & Steve Lovatt Targets

GARLANDS SHOOTING GROUND
This video comes from the 2026 British Open Super Sporting Championship, held at Garlands Shooting Ground.
The event was set over 11 stands and delivered a great mix of targets — plenty of fun presentations, but with the usual challenging Steve Lovatt touches to keep everyone honest.
The championship was won by Kallum Burrell with a brilliant score of 95.
The day we visited was incredibly windy, which made both the shooting and the filming pretty difficult, so this video is a little different from the usual full-round coverage. There is still footage from every stand, but with a bit more music and a slightly different feel due to the conditions.
It also turned into a very unusual day, with a delay after a neighbouring field caught fire. The Garlands team and referees did a great job getting everyone safely back to the clubhouse, looking after the situation, and then getting the event back up and running.
This one also features the brilliant Simon Reinhold from Holts Auctioneers — well known as a side-by-side gun specialist, although he was shooting an over-and-under this time!

Let me know in the comments — do you enjoy Super Sporting as a format, and would you rather see full target coverage or this slightly faster-paced style when conditions make filming difficult?
