Masher: Monster in Japan

The bottom line for my tribe is, keep skating sacred. If you have to ask, you ain't worth telling. You want to make cash on epic missions? Then you're in it for all the wrong reasons. The following article isn't a tour guide, and it sure as hell ain't no map. It's meant to inspire all of you to go out and find something to call your own. Down the street in someone's backyard on a faraway island, dream instead of rehashing. The skate world is getting smaller, but look, we must. You start digging, you'll never know what you'll find. It's time Thrasher got someone a ******* gravy. We are in Mikasa, Japan, and we're at the Lost Bowl, the Lost Skate Park. It was already found 2001, though. Jake loves insane terrain. I think we all do. We all share that same stoke that Jake did. He's just not here to share it with us today. But I knew that as soon as I saw it, it was like, I have to go there someday. No one comes here, so it's rare. It's a rare thing to get a chance to make the mission out here, because it's off the beaten trail. It's not just a direct flight from anywhere. It's hard to get here. So I was trying to explain, even to my wife, I was like, I'm going to go skate the Lost Bowl, the Lost Skate Park. And even now, I just sent her a photo, and she didn't even respond. I don't think it registers. It's just another, to us, insane terrain. But for the normal human, even the ******* guy over here at the booth, he doesn't understand this is our ******* Mecca, or whatever you want to call it. And they're like, why do you want to skate this? It's old. No one gets it. If you don't skate, you don't get it. Monster Energy trip has been sick so far. And now, we get to turn one of my closest friends, Asahi, pro for Blood Wizard. I'm so stoked for her. She deserves all this ----. And I can't wait to see how she reacts. What? Oh, my god. Wow.
