Video Summary
AI GeneratedNicole shares a recipe for a Berries and Cream smoothie bowl, inspired by a childhood memory of berry cobbler. She demonstrates how to achieve a thick, creamy consistency using a high-speed blender and a mix of frozen fruits, coconut cream, and a secret vegetable addition to create a healthy, dessert-like breakfast.
Hello friends, welcome back to my channel.
My name is Nicole.
It's almost the end of summer, which makes me so sad, although I'm very excited for fall.
I'm hanging on to the last bits of summer that I can.
This last weekend, I went to a really sweet friend of mine's house.
She has this huge farm and she took us to see all the animals and you guys, she made
me and my friends the best berry cobbler I've ever eaten in my whole life.
I wish you could have tried it.
My grandma used to make berry cobbler for us with vanilla ice cream all the time as
kids and so it gave me the idea to do a berries and cream smoothie bowl.
I thought what better way to end off the summer season as we transition into fall with another
smoothie bowl recipe.
So if you're excited to learn how to make this smoothie bowl, give this video a big
thumbs up.

Maybe we should do like a smoothie bowl series inspired by your favorite desserts and like
turn different desserts into smoothie bowls.
I don't know, it could be fun.
But you have the best suggestions ever and I want to know what you want to see on this
channel so drop a comment down below and let's get to it.
First things first, when you're using a high speed blender like a Vitamix where the blades
are on the bottom, you always want to start with your liquids and your softest ingredients
first.
If you haven't seen any of my blender tutorials on this channel, I have a whole playlist that
shows you how to use pretty much any type of blender.
So if you're confused on how to get that really smooth, thick consistency for your smoothie
bowls, check out my blender tutorials because that will help a lot.
I'm just going to do about a fourth to about half a cup of liquid.
I'm using a coconut almond milk blend but you can use whatever kind of milk you like
or even juice.
Now the next trick for a super thick and creamy base is a frozen banana.
I'm just going to put one frozen banana in here.
If you don't like bananas, the next ingredient that we're going to use is a great alternative
or substitute for bananas.
These are frozen coconut cream cubes.
So you can get coconut cream in a can at the grocery store.
I just pour it into an ice tray and then freeze it and you've got these little coconut cream
cubes that help make your smoothie bowl so so creamy and since this is a berries and
cream smoothie bowl, we're going to add three frozen coconut cream cubes.
However, if you don't like frozen banana, you can also substitute for more coconut cream
cubes.
Okay, now for our berries.
I'm doing half a cup of frozen raspberries and then one third cup of frozen blueberries
and one third cup of frozen strawberries.
Oh my gosh, this just reminded me of my favorite snack ever right now.
I might have to do a video on it but I've been making this mix of like frozen blueberries
with honey and granola and like other things in it and it's so crazy because the way the
blueberries are when they're frozen, it like crystallizes the honey.
It's the best snack ever.
Let me know if you want to see a video on that.
Now, I'm doing one third cup of frozen riced cauliflower.
If you've never seen any of my videos, you might be like, what in the world?
Why is she putting riced cauliflower in her smoothie bowl?
It's something that I do.
It's my signature little ingredient.
This is totally optional.
It's just a way to get more veggies in if you have a hard time getting your daily recommended
amount of vegetables in.
You literally cannot taste the cauliflower and so I just throw it in there because it
adds more volume to my smoothie bowl without adding more sugar, which is what comes from
the fruit.
So if you want a thicker, bigger smoothie bowl without adding sugar, if you're trying
to watch those things, frozen riced cauliflower is a great ingredient to add to your smoothie
bowls.
And then finally, this ingredient is optional too, but I'm going to add one scoop of vanilla
protein powder.
This just helps to make your smoothie bowl more of a complete meal.
It helps keep me fuller longer and I just went to the gym and worked out.
So this is going to help aid in my recovery as well.
But if you don't want the protein powder, you can just leave it out.
All right.
This looks great.
Now we blend.
Another thing too, I feel like I always forget to mention is I have a smoothie bowl starter
kit linked down in the description box of pretty much every single one of my videos.
So if you're curious about what blenders I use or where to get things like these coconut
bowls or special ingredients, click that starter link kit.
And I've got a ton of things that I've linked off of Amazon that might help you get started.
This turned out way more beautiful than what I thought.
I am so excited to try this.
Here we go.
Oh yes.
Okay.
Wow.
This tastes just like the cobbler.
I'm in love.
Okay.
The full recipe for this will be linked down in the description box below if you want to
give it a try and you have to because it's so delicious.
This might be one of my favorite smoothie bowls I've made this summer.
