Inside Nepal's Flood Chaos! Villages Buried, Bridges Gone, Rescue Now Suspended

Nepal's flood toll has reached 616, with 977 still unaccounted for. Rescue work was suspended on Friday when the barrier lake upstream began to overflow and crews on both sides of the border were pulled back.

The US Geological Survey has also corrected the cause. There was no earthquake. What the sensors recorded was the collapse itself. Only 13 bodies were found where the flood began; 233 were recovered over 150 kilometers downstream.
