Lionel Messi scores 4 goals to lead Inter Miami to 7-1 romp over Montreal

Living a charmed life at the moment. Montreal's goal, that's twice the woodwork has been hit. Segovia again curls this into the 18. That time it finds the back of the net. Casemiro in the middle of it all and in the 20th minute. Gets up so high. We saw this time and time again for Manchester United last season in the Premier League. Got himself in great positions. He has that little bit of a run up. On the set piece here. Miami looking to answer right back and regain the lead. Lionel Messi straight at goal and it's in. Into Miami. But from the goalkeeper side of things he has to save that. There is no question about it. Doesn't matter what angle you see it from. That should have been comfortable enough. He's looking at Petrasso. Energy they have to expend for the opponents who are constantly up for them. Here's Messi though on the move. Lionel Messi continuing on. Messi between three defenders. Messi what a move. What a goal. Oh goodness. Second of the night for the greatest. Worried about making a challenge but it's just his movement. You think the chance has gone. Then he picks the ball up here. Goes to his left. Then goes to his right. Then takes it onto his right. You get dizzy watching. It's incredible. Just when you think he's going to lose it. Just watch how close control. It's like the ball. Defended away by Breit. Out wide for Messi who plays it ahead. Now Luis Suarez is it alone. Luis Suarez. There it is. Miami gets a fourth. Messi just stayed out on that right wing. This is going to be a close call. If anyone is playing Suarez on. It looks like it's Neal and then Suarez. Looking for number five. They play it to Messi down the right side and instead Gilles. Another chance. Messi. There it is. A Lionel Messi hat trick. The exclamation point on the evening. This is extraordinary. And was there ever any doubt when he received the ball. But give credit to Inter Ami because he's really really good pressing and they win the ball. Top of the box. Here's Shaw. Shaw gives it a go. Fires and scores. Oh what a moment for him. Of Lionel Messi in these moments. Here we go. Extraordinary. There are no words. A four goal night for Lionel Messi. Touchdown Miami. It's 7-1. He's not human. He is from another planet. I said it on his previous goal. He makes the most difficult situations look so easy. Look how close he is to the 18 yard box. He gets it up but then he gets it down.
