Authorities on both sides of the border between Nepal and China are warning that the risk of secondary floods is high after Wednesday’s devastating flash flood.

There is particular concern about a barrier lake near the Langtang Lirung peak.
Rescue efforts along the Trishuli River in Nepal were disrupted after the lake began to overflow.

According to the Red Cross estimates more than 90,000 people have been directly affected by the disaster.

We are in Nuwakot, one of the worst affected areas.
