DEA bans 7-OH drugs for two years

The DEA has taken action against synthetic opioids related to 7-OH, a derivative of the kratom plant. While 7-OH itself remains legal under DEA guidelines, three related synthetics have been placed on a temporary Schedule 1 list due to rising concerns over addiction, overdose, and the ease of access to these unregulated substances.
