Doja Cat made a Silly Song 8 Years Ago… Now It’s a Viral TikTok Trend

Does your for you page currently look like this?
Hey, milkshake brings all the boys to the farm.
Well, here's why.
Eight years ago, Doja Cat spent 12 and a half hours in her bedroom
and accidentally created the ultimate blueprint for modern day internet fame.
Yeah, I'm a cow.
I'm a cow.
And forget about Million Dollar Studios.
Doja put on a cow printed costume shirt that was meant for a tour
and decided to write a joke track on Instagram Live.
She then took a West Montgomery sample,
chopped by her friend, threw a beat on it in Logic and started moving harmonies
because she thought, quote, nobody's going to care.
The entire music video took under six hours to shoot and edit.
And her green screen, just some green bedsheets
she kept from childhood pinned over her bedroom mirror.
Her visual effects included her searching two and a half hours
just to find decent cheeseburger and cow gifts online.
Doja reportedly started the whole process at 230 in the afternoon
and finished the edit by 3 a.m.
And it was just meant to be a goofy break from serious music,
but it launched her career to a global level.
Now, comments are reminding the future generations to not let the song die out.
And it looks like TikTok understood the assignment.
Because now there's a new TikTok dance paired with Doja Cat's song,
which is why you may see a lot of cow costumes dancing this weekend.
I'm not a cat.
I don't say no.
Is this still the greatest Internet masterpiece ever made or are you over it?
