How's the rehab going rehab?
I mean rehab is finished done done.
I'm almost coming up on a year now.
So I was I was probably where I felt like a hundred percent or whatever.
My new hundred percent is probably about two months ago.
Okay.
Yeah back on my feet Achilles tear.
Yeah, never great.
No big scar lose a lot of muscle in your calf.
It's a long just boring frustrating recovery.
Just like any recovery.
So I'm always in this world that the universe provides in different
ways, right?
So you have your first child.
Yes, you so you and your wife welcome your first child you get hurt.
Okay, so you're going to Washington.
It's but you got time with your kid that you were never would have
had.
Otherwise is it silver lining potentially is perspective.
You said, you know provides in different ways.
That's a great way to look at the life, right?
You got to see what's the silver lining here.
Absolutely.
What what's the positive in this situation?
Obviously tearing your Achilles is never going to be positive thing.
But because of that now, what's the new situation?
How can you know hang on your hat on the good things instead of dwell
on the all for me in the past?
So I'm the same way at kid is here had more time to focus on my
business focus on fantasy.
And so it's been a there's there's a blessing in there somewhere.
And that's definitely where I've been living.
Is it look rehab sucks, right?
You're alone.
You're you're working hard.
Is it when I when my daughter was born?
I tell people I was an asshole for a long time.
I was a selfish self-absorbed focus person on my career and also
I cared about my daughter came around and I was like, oh that ----
really doesn't matter and I was completely changed.
Did you have that moment at all?
And when you became a dad, let me ask you this because I still live
in that space, but I don't think it doesn't matter.
I think it just matters for a different reason now because for
me my career like we're I'm the provider in the in the household,
right?
So I have that responsibility and that's where I feel at peace is
when I am able to provide and I'm doing work and things like that.
Yeah, so yes with Ronan my son he's here now and I want to provide
him the best opportunity that I can which isn't giving him a bunch
of stuff is actually the opposite.
Yeah, right giving him a bunch of responsibility and allowing him
to look I was just having I was just chatting about this.
I grew up in Colorado and you learned you learned kind of a rugged
lifestyle out there in the ranch life in Colorado like learning
how to work hard right responsibility.
Now I live in Las Vegas.
I'm kind of nervous because I'm like, oh my God, my daughter here.
I was here for 11 years.
I just moved because it was all I was raising my daughter here.
So I can tell you it's interesting place to be like am I going to
have enough responsibility for him to like actually like learn how
to be responsible and be on time and you know and be able to take
on work and have and have things that you know rely on him to get
done.
So yeah, the the fatherhood is is amazing, but I think I'm still
100% focused on the career obviously with Ronan as well and my
wife, but now for a different reason to make sure I provide a
stable household for him and her and more kids hope in the future.
