Fatal Buckeye shooting suspect is victim's stepson

A 22-year-old man, Jesus Perez, is in custody after a double shooting in Buckeye that left his 36-year-old stepfather, David Washington, dead and a 17-year-old girl injured. The incident occurred inside their shared home following an argument. The suspect was apprehended quickly by an off-duty police sergeant who happened to be nearby.
