Small plane crashes off coast of New Smyrna Beach

A pilot survived without serious injury after crashing a banner plane off the coast of New Smyrna Beach. Witnesses reported hearing a loud pop followed by engine silence before the plane flipped upside down in the sand. The FAA is currently investigating the cause of the crash.
