Amazon Triples Down on Nvidia’s A.I. Chips

Amazon is significantly expanding its partnership with Nvidia, ordering 2 million additional GPUs, including Blackwell Ultra and Rubin systems, for AWS datacenters. Despite developing its own AI chips to reduce dependency, Amazon is investing tens of billions of dollars to meet soaring demand, with deployments scheduled for 2027 and 2028.
