Meta settlement: Major Facebook, Instagram changes for kids

Meta has agreed to an $18 billion settlement with numerous U.S. states following allegations that its platforms endangered children. In addition to the financial payout, the company will implement strict safety features on Instagram and Facebook to protect younger users, including time limits and enhanced content controls.
