Flock Safety cameras removed in Tempe, Cave Creek

The cities of Tempe and Cave Creek have ended their contracts with Flock Safety, removing automated license plate readers (ALPR) due to privacy concerns. This follows similar moves by other Arizona jurisdictions. While Tempe reported no local misuse, it is opting out of ALPR technology entirely to protect constitutional privacy rights.
