The Boston Red Sox are promoting top prospect Marcelo Myers to the major leagues following a hamstring injury to star third baseman Alex Bregman. While Bregman's initial outlook was positive, a subsequent MRI indicated a need for an IL stint. Myers, who impressed during spring training and in AAA, is expected to debut immediately to fill the void in the infield.
