Wasps are the latest weapon in the MN fight against emerald ash borer

Minnesota is fighting the devastating impact of the emerald ash borer (EAB), an invasive beetle killing millions of ash trees. To combat this, the State Department of Agriculture is introducing tiny, non-stinging parasitoid wasps from Asia to prey on EAB eggs and larvae, offering a biological solution to preserve the forest canopy where insecticides are impractical.
