Canada announces counter-tariffs on $27.6B of U.S. goods

Canada is implementing counter-tariffs on $27.6 billion of U.S. imports effective September 8. These tariffs, ranging from 15% to 50%, will match U.S. rates dollar-for-dollar to ensure a level playing field and protect domestic workers and manufacturers from unfair competition.
