Sudanese Opposition rejects Burhan’s national dialogue

Sudanese political and civil society groups meeting in Addis Ababa have rejected General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan's proposed national dialogue. They argue that peace is impossible while fighting continues and that the exclusion of the Rapid Support Forces renders the initiative illegitimate and a mere tool for Burhan to solidify his power following the 2021 coup.
