First-gen AZ college student earns $5M in aid

Joseph Parmighel, a first-generation college student from Arizona, made headlines after receiving over $5 million in scholarship offers from numerous universities across the U.S. Despite the massive financial incentives to study elsewhere, he chose to stay in his home state to attend Arizona State University (ASU).
