WE HAD TO STRIP DOWN THE BRAKING SYSTEM ON OUR BOAT CAR - IT WAS CARNAGE!!

WE REMOVED THE BRAKE DRUMS, THE SHAFTS WERE OUT AND HAD TO GRIND OF THE BEARINGS ON THE BOAT CAR

After breaking down last week, this week we have been full on busy stripping down the brake system of the boat car. After removing the wheels, brakes, brake drums, shafts and grinding of the bearings, we had to locate all the parts, this was a task in itself, because at the moment there is a shortage of car parts in the UK. After literally tearing our hair our, calling about hundred motor parts suppliers and surfing the internet for over 200 hours, we finally located what we needed. However, the parts are yet to come, so fingers crossed we will have them this week and refitted to hit the road/ waterways next week.
