[EON 2026 SHOWCASE: River of Time] Drunken Spring Breeze (AADT)

Flagship is Harvard AADT’s oldest lasting traditional ethnic performance with a greater focus on advanced techniques representative of Asian ethnic and folk dance styles. This semester, Flagship presents a classical Chinese dance, (Drunken Spring Breeze), which depicts young friends playing in the spring breeze, enjoying the springtime weather, frolicking in the flower shadows, and dancing with their fans. The dance draws from the cultural traditions of ancient Chinese scholars and poets, particularly those of the Tang and Song dynasties.

Eon Dance Troupe is a classical, ethnic, and fusion performance group that strives to promote awareness of the rich culture, history, and diversity surrounding Asian dance. Eon brings Asian traditional dance to the forefront of Northeastern University, giving dancers of all experience levels and cultural backgrounds a platform to learn, perform, and bond with one another with no audition required.
