New Lightbot MASTERED Parkour… This AI Robot Is INSANE!

Lightbot 0 sprints at a waist-high box, plants one hand on top, and vaults clean over it. No hesitation. No second attempt.

This humanoid robot stands about ninety centimetres tall and weighs under nineteen kilograms. It sees everything through a single chest camera. No motion capture, no map loaded in advance.

Light Origins taught Lightbot 0 with short human clips, then let a physics simulation rebuild the missing obstacle. Every success raised the bar a few centimetres, from forty-five up to seventy-five.

The clever part is memory. Mid-vault, the camera loses sight of the box, so Lightbot 0 relies on what it saw a second earlier. At seventy centimetres, it clears nine times out of ten.

Everything was learned in simulation and worked on the real robot immediately. That is artificial intelligence solving obstacles it has never seen before, and a sign of where AI robotics is heading. How far can a humanoid this small really climb?
