Lake House by blaq arquitectos is a 140-square-meter lakeside retreat in Lago Ranco, Chile, designed to respond to the region’s changing climate while maintaining a strong connection with nature. Organized on a single level, the house combines lake-facing bedrooms, sun-oriented living spaces, and a raised terrace beneath deep roof eaves. Built primarily with local pine and elevated on stilts, the design minimizes its impact on the terrain while preserving existing trees and creating a seamless transition between indoor living and the surrounding landscape.
