Our journey to Bulgaria was filled with exciting and unexpected adventures, making it a truly memorable experience. One of the most remarkable moments was our first visit to a convenience store, where we encountered a language barrier like never before. The shopkeeper couldn't speak English, and our knowledge of Slavic languages was limited, but through a combination of gestures, charades, and a shared sense of humor, we managed to understand each other. It was a testament to the power of human connection transcending language barriers.

Another highlight of our trip was the unexpected car trouble we encountered. Our beloved boat car, which had been our trusty companion for so long, suffered a breakdown. We had it towed to a local garage, Shiroki Dol, where the skilled mechanics swiftly diagnosed the problem as a gearbox issue. Despite the setback, we were impressed by the efficiency and expertise of the garage workers, who went to work on the car with dedication.

During our explorations in Bulgaria, we stumbled upon a breathtaking lake called Iskar Reservoir, that left us in awe. The crystal-clear waters and serene surroundings made it an ideal place to unwind and enjoy nature. We couldn't resist the temptation to plan a future adventure with our boat car on this remarkable lake, promising even more excitement in the days to come.

To truly immerse ourselves in Bulgarian culture, we decided to try their local cuisine for the first time. The meal consisted of cornflakes chicken and potatoes topped with delicious Bulgarian cheese. The flavors and unique combination of ingredients left a lasting impression on our taste buds, making us eager to explore more of the local culinary delights.

Our journey in Bulgaria was just beginning, but these key experiences were the foundation of our new adventures in this beautiful country. With each new day, we were eager to discover more of Bulgaria's hidden gems and create lasting memories.
