Two superyachts worth over $100 million raft up together in the Arctic as we continue our expedition through Greenland towards the Northwest Passage.

In Episode 2 of INTO THE ARCTIC, we follow the 60m Damen Yachting Xplorer AFTER YOU and her 53m Yacht Support vessel EMOTIONAL as they venture deeper into one of the most remote regions on Earth.

With two expedition yachts, helicopters, tenders, toys and an incredible crew, we’re documenting what it really takes to operate a superyacht expedition in the Arctic.
This episode gives you a closer look at how these two very different vessels work together.

AFTER YOU is the mothership — a Damen Yachting Xplorer 60 built to combine the comfort of a luxury superyacht with the capability required to explore some of the world’s most remote destinations.

Alongside her is EMOTIONAL, a 53m Damen Yachting Yacht Support vessel carrying additional crew, tenders, toys, equipment and helicopter capability that allows the fleet to operate far beyond the limits of a conventional superyacht programme.

And in this episode, we bring both yachts alongside each other and raft them together in Greenland.

I’m living onboard EMOTIONAL and documenting this journey from the inside as we travel through Greenland, cross Baffin Bay into Canada and attempt one of the most legendary maritime routes on Earth — the Northwest Passage.

This is only the beginning.
