We walk the entire length of Ukulhas Island in the Maldives from the north side to the south tip. Starting at the outdoor gym and AA Ukulhas School, we follow the paved main street, quiet residential lanes, and traditional rope‑net chairs.

Along the west side we cut through to the beach, passing oceanfront cafés, swings, shaded trees, and clear turquoise water. Mid‑walk we discover a manual fish‑processing area where locals cut and dry large fish — a rare local‑island experience most visitors never see.

We also check the tourist bikini‑beach dress code signs, new hotel developments, coconut sellers, and the fine white sand at the southern end. Ukulhas is compact, calm, and fully walkable in under a day.
