Fisherman Rescues Stranded Dog At Sea Leading Him To A Shipwrecked Survivor

Captain Emmet Duarte-Whitcombe had pulled plenty of things out of the water over thirty years of fishing this coastline. A shivering, exhausted Labrador wasn't entirely unusual.

What was unusual was what happened once the dog was safely aboard. It wouldn't lie down. It wouldn't rest. It paced the deck and barked, again and again, toward a jagged reef half a mile off the boat's position.

Emmet almost dismissed it as shock. He didn't. What he found once he followed that barking was a survivor who had been clinging to a half-submerged hull for longer than anyone could confirm.
