N.B. environmental groups worry about future of key funding source

Environmental groups in New Brunswick are concerned about the future of the Environmental Trust Fund (ETF) due to the loss of its primary revenue stream from bottle returns. While the province currently has $8 million in surplus to cover the next few years, Minister Gilles Lepage states that new sustainable financing solutions are being studied and will be announced this fall.
