On August 18, 2026, some Falun Gong practitioners in Australia gathered at Parliament Hill in Canberra, the capital city, to petition for action to urge members of all parties in Australia to pay attention to and draft laws and policies to prevent transnational repression by foreign organizations and the harassment and intimidation of local people by foreign organizations (the Chinese Communist Party) within Australia.
